Our one-hour Ghostly Tales tour takes you through Williamsburg's historic area in the evening. You will be introduced to the historic importance of each site visited, you will hear of the local ghostly legends that surround them, and of recent encounters with the spirits that reside there. Our Walk About History tour is a one-hour introduction to the history of Williamsburg - its historical importance, development in the 18th century, glimpses into daily life of colonial inhabitants, and modern restoration. An excellent choice if you have limited time to visit Williamsburg, or are looking for an in-depth orientation before touring the town on your own.

My daughter and I ended up being the only ones in the tour (it was a weekday and one of the hottest days) but even still we had a great time! Learned so much history and a lot of ghost stories that went along with a lot of the houses. Very interesting and our guide was wonderful! Highly recommend.

Overall I enjoyed the Black History Tour and the Williamsburg Walking Tour. The docent was very knowledgeable and I was especially impressed that she presented to us several times throughout the two tours images and text from her three ring binder that showed us it means a lot to her. It's apparent she spent a lot of time researching the... More

Great views, history and delightful stories that kept my 16 yr old son and I glued to her every word! I would recommend it to anyone with an hour and a half of time! Worth every dollar spent!

I learned more on this tour than I did as a history major and frequent reader of historical pieces (bios and events). Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and presented the information in a fun, interesting manner. Highly recommend

Very informative. Learned about the traditions of Christmas in early colonial times. Tour guide was excellent. Revealed a lot of facts not found in history books.

We had a great Christmas tour of Williamsburg. The guide was very knowledgeable and answered our many questions. It is not a very long walk, so very doable for all ages.

The tour guide Trish was very knowledgeable in the history of Williamsburg African American history. We think it can be improved by actually going into the buildings that the guide is speaking of.

I live here and never get enough of this city. Any chance to learn more about the history of the area is something I jump on. It was a Sunday and the tour was so informative and our tour guide was very, very good. Our group was small and there was time for questions and lots of discussion. I will... More
