I drove 5 minutes from my resort to this park not expecting much. I just wanted an opportunity to do few miles of hiking. The first trail we took was around 2 and one half miles. It was a majestic day weather wise and the trail did not disappoint. Encouraged, we took another trail that was almost 3 miles. It... More

What a lovely park whether in spring, summer or fall. It is clean, easy to walk. There is fishing from a clean well placed pier, boating and great walking paths. Just great....

Take Airport Road and head to Waller Mill Park if you want to enjoy an opportunity to enjoy nature and a less populated place. The park is owned and operated by the city of Williamsburg and we were lucky to be there on a day in February when they were not charging an admission fee! There are a couple of... More

I have been visting this park since a child, and I've been said to see them constantly stripping away at the trees, to the point that there is only the thinnest veil of trees between the park and the highways and interstate, so you constantly hear (and see) traffic buzzing by, It didn't used to be like this, but it... They have a dog park, picnic places, boat rentals. Trails to hike on. It is a very clean park. We had a birthday party there and was cheap to rent and you get it for all day.

Reasonably priced rentals of non-power boats, fishing equipment and bait. Absolutely beautiful lake, great fishing and a fantastic place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Staff are courteous and helpful. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely little park with a lot to do. They have one of the best dock systems with rollers for pulling kayaks out of the water and also rent Kayaks during the warmer months. There are piers for fishing from and a small boat ramp as well. We hiked on two trails that wound along the lake. The... More

ran on the bike path and the overlook trail - lonely but safe- saw some squirrels, some deer, and a goose. Nice run! Trail is 2 miles one way so 4 miles round trip; overlook path is about 1.8mile loop

Biked from our campground 2-1/2 miles. Fishing and hiking are main things to do. Very pretty. Would go there again.
