We had an excellent tour today, on our nation's birthday, with Ray Dominguez. Ray has such knowledge of the area and it's history and he does an excellent job of involving everyone in his tour. Our kids aged 19, 19, 17 and 13 all enjoyed it as much as we did. We didn't purchase tickets to go inside any of the buildings but if we have time we might still do so later in the week. We commented on how much better our time was with the tour rather than if we had walked around on our own.

We booked for a tour with Williamsburg Private Tours by John Sutton, and Ray Dominguez was our guide. Well, lemme tell you, you just can't go wrong with this tour. SO informative, so fun and interesting. He really knows his history, and gives a lively and engaging tour. He was "a bit" older than the 5 of us ladies, and he wore us out! You have GOT to do this! If you want to really know the area (including the William and Mary campus!), this is the way to do it.

We hired Ray Dominguez to give us a private tour of Jamestown. Ray is an EXCELLENT tour guide. He knows his history. He knows how to talk to people of all ages. I've been to Jamestown a number of times over the last 40 years. This by far was the BEST time I've ever had. My 11 and 14 year old have been studying Jamestown in school. They learned things from Ray they didn't know. Our tour was 2.5 hours. Because of COVID19 a lot of the hands on activity at Jamestown has been removed. It didn't matter, Ray made the place come alive. Can't recommend him enough. If you want to connect with him, email him at rdominguez810@gmail.com. He is fantastic!

We had John at Jamestown and Williamsburg, and Ray for Yorktown and the ghost tour of Williamsburg. The wealth of knowledge and just the sheer fun both of these great guys made the tour and accelerated the experience. Definitely worth hiring this company if you are a fan of American history! We loved it.

My husband, our 10-year-old grandson, and I had Ray for a tour guide one day at Jamestown and John another day at Yorktown battlefields. Both guides were informative and fun! We learned so much more than we would have simply reading signs at both places. Loved the stories, the fortitude of our forefathers, the military science behind Yorktown battles, and more. We highly recommend a private tour guide and these gentlemen specifically.
