About Drink Williamsburg
Welcome to the newest attraction for adults in Williamsburg. Enjoy drinks, tours, and tastings at craft alcohol hot spots for in Williamsburg, Virginia! Let our 14-person bus take you out for drinks, tours, and tastings at four of Williamsburg's alcohol producers. Drinks, tours, and tastings are included in the $60/person ticket price for the Drink Williamsburg Experience, offered at 1pm and 5:30pm. Or, you can take our happy our crawl at 5:30 for $35/person, which does not include drinks. Our alcohol adventures are great for single riders, groups, and private parties. See the Itinerary for more information. Alcohol Education: Variety of drinks, tastings, and tours The four locations we will visit produce many variations of beer, rum, gin, whiskey, and mead. You'll get to drink it all, but you'll also learn how each type of alcohol is made, and the stories behind them. Each establishment is unique. One distillery practices the Scottish tradition of whiskey making, while the other focuses on the Colonial method of distilling. Did you know that the first bourbon was distilled in Colonial Virginia in the 18th century? On our Drink Williamsburg Experience, you'll see one of the only two places that distills in authentic Colonial Style. Our tour guides and drivers will take you there, and introduce you to it all! In addition to its other attractions, Williamsburg has breweries, distilleries, and even a meadery only steps away from Colonial Williamsburg, that produce some of the finest adult beverages this side of the Mississippi! Drink Williamsburg eliminates pesky issues, like having to find a driver and fight through a crowd to get a drink. Instead, meet new and exciting people while enjoying the alcoholic pleasures Williamsburg has to offer. All tours are great for single riders, as the Drink Bus usually turns into a mixer and a great way to meet new and fun people. Drink Williamsburg is also ideal for group and private tours.

I concur with the last few reviews. They seem to be just calling it in, trying to scrape enough in fees to stay open until they can get back to normal. We paid $300+ for our remote pickup and "tour". It was not a tour. It was a series of badly timed Lyft rides that we had no control over, and a couple of tasting packages that all together wouldn't have cost $60 for two people. They list about a dozen venues on their promotional site, but what you get might be three. There is no phone support, at least on the weekend so there is nobody to fix the problems. Our first ride showed up 20 min late to pick us up at our remote location. We arrived at the first venue, a distillery, 30 min late. We jumped onto the tour in progress, and we weren't even finished with it when the next driver arrived. We never even made it to the tasting room. The next stop was a brewery. We got a beer flight from the bartender, who knew very little about the venue, and nothing about making beer. We did have time to finish our beer before the next driver arrived, but it was close. Our third stop was a coffee/kombucha place which was very small. All except the distillery had nothing for us except our complementary (paid by company) sampler. We were picked up to head home, and talked our Lyft driver into taking us back to the distillery so we could get our tasting. We had to arrange our own ride back to resort at our expense. If you are looking for the fun and fellowship of a drinking tour you will not find it here. Just hire a driver for the afternoon and do it yourself at your own pace.

I was expecting a guided tour going from place to place, instead, it was an uber ride between locations. One of the Uber drivers tried to pick us up 10 mins after we arrived at the first location when I called to let him know the pick-up was not scheduled for 35 mins later he was very rude, he hung up on me and canceled our ride. I wish that since it was not a bus-guided tour we had more say in which locations we went to, we didn't get to go to any distilleries, just to breweries and Jokers Brewing the hard Kombucha place which was great.

The tour started out late with a cab picking us up to take us to our first stop. I had no idea of how long we would be there nor had no information to go by. I did later find out that a cab would be picking us up once again to take us to our next stop. The cab was 45 minutes late which made our next cab pick already had come and gone before we ever got there. This was not a guided tour as the website makes it seem like. This was the worst experience I have ever had! We cut it short and headed back to where we left our car before we got stranded out there somewhere with no ride.

Took the tour for my wife's birthday and a Williamsburg weekend getaway. We had a blast! Our drivers were very entertaining and even though COVID guidelines were in place it was still an enjoyable evening! All of the venues were very accommodating and welcoming to our needs. A must do if you are looking for a great experience!

I’m from Richmond, but I still learned so much on this tour with Michael as our tour guide. It was a smaller tour group so he made sure to reach out and see what we would like for our fourth and final stop which was a nice personal touch. We had a great group so we talked too much which put us behind schedule but he was so chill with our timeline!! Thank you for such a great look at Richmond’s beer/cider/distillery scene! We will definitely be coming again!
