BEER · PEOPLE · PURPOSE The Virginia Beer Company is a Brewery + Taproom + Beer Garden located in the heart of Williamsburg's Edge District, conveniently nestled between Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Our beers are only as good as the people with whom we share them. That starts with a talented team and extends to our guests, Full-Time Friends Social Club, and the people in our community. Together we've worked to create a dynamic environment and recipe lineup that encourages beers for all and reflects the positive spirit of our brewery. Featuring 16 rotating taps for beers & cheers seven days a week...plus daily food trucks, weekly specials, and regular live music! Visit us and try one of the best breweries in Williamsburg, VA!

I found the IPAs all very nice. The only downside was the food truck offering hot dogs - they were served in freezing buns and nothing special. We came to celebrate their 6th anniversary, and we were not disappointed. This brewery is top notch, and worth the 60 mile drive to enjoy with the staff and newly found friends. Well done. See you next year.

They have a variety of light to heavy beers. If you are an IPA fan ( majority of new england style) , this is a must stop location. Their oatmeal stout was also a standout. The area inside is spacy and inviting, and the layout limits crowding. It is a good atmosphere for pets or for young families. They have food trucks routinely onsite. This was a highlight during a weeklong stay in Williamsburg!

We were visiting Williamsburg for the week and saw this place on Facebook and decided to try it out. The night that we came they had live music and the food truck on the premises was Nosh. It was pretty busy and seating is limited. Lots of families and pets. Some of the kids were running around unattended which didn’t really seem appropriate at a place like this especially since it was busy. If you aren’t into craft beers there really isn’t much else to drink here. Hubby enjoyed his beer selections and Nosh was delicious! We didn’t stay too long but it does seem to be a popular Friday evening spot.

We have been coming here since soon after they opened many years ago. Quality of beer is excellent. In today’s environment, they are taking painstaking measures to keep us beer lovers safe. Good job VBC.

Super friendly atmosphere. Did not love the TACO Tuesday as I has hoped. Pretty pricey and a bit too “gourmet” for our southwestern Mexican food tastes. Seems like a great place to socially distance and enjoy some time with friends!

VBC is, overall, my favorite brewery in Williamsburg. Ambience is solid, staff is friendly, location is good but the thing that sets VBC apart is the quality and selection of beer. They do everything well; from funky, hoppy or strong to light and crisp, they do it right. You can taste the quality!

This place has a lot of space. They have indoor and outdoor patio seating. They have live music and an Octoberfest event. There is a food truck there as well. They have a lot of IPAs and offer $12 flights. Very friendly staff! I would come back.

My brother spotted this place and it was around the corner from our hotel. The staff was lovely and it looked like a fun place to eat and drink. It was 1/2 price Wednesdays for growlers and refills. My wife and I have been coming here since the opened 5 years ago. Always our first stop after lunch. They have added many new styles of beer for their anniversary. Tried something new and liked it. Great afternoon with excellent weather for enjoying their beer.
