Family business. Woman serving us very energetic and passionate about the craft and process of bringing their wines to life. You can tell they care a lot about what they do. Nice scenic view to sit back and enjoy a glass or two...

This was a great winery. The woman working was the daughter of the owners. She was so friendly, talkative and fun. I loved the winery and would love to go back on a warmer day, when I could enjoy the deck. The wines were outstanding and the truffle pairing for some was great. The only problem was that they were... More

We stopped here while going to a few vineyards in the area. The staff was incredibly pleasant and fun to talk to. All of the wines were delicious. They have a sister vineyard in Italy and include one of its wines in the tasting as a comparison, which was a fun twist on the typical tasting. Their pours are a... More

Nice scenery and beautiful interior. Wines were enjoyable and our server was very welcoming. We had a great first visit and would return on a day we could enjoy sitting outside.

I went with a couple of girl friends for a birthday celebration. The wine flight was inexpensive, very varied, & delicious! Typically I only like the reds, but the white selection was super tasty. We bought a bottle of Cab Franc, some delicious oregano cheese, & crustini's in a box (not very good or special) & enjoyed the scenery. The... More

We visited on a very cold Saturday, and I don't think the staff wanted to be there. One of them was new, and didn't know much yet, and the other was trying to help him out and seemed somewhat unfriendly. The wines were average, but on the higher end for price.

This Italian family-owned winery resides in the optimal location for a weekend getaway from Washington, DC. The quality of wine will impress, while the people are what keep you coming back.

It was 1999, when we last visited the VA "wine country," and so many things have changed. Many, many much better wines now, than then. Gadino Cellars is one of the reasons for my statement above. They are producing some very good wines, and to my surprise, some from some traditional Italian varietals. I was surprised that Nebbiolo and Pino... More

We travel down to Virginia from PA, at least times a year. Gadino is one of our Must Stop at Wineries. Really pretty winery, great people, good wine.

While this vineyard was not flashy and not in the most picturesque location, the wines were surprisingly good. This winery has been around since the 90's and had some great history from the Gadino family on display. Their whites were very good and our favorite was the Nebbiolo. This was our fifth winery of the day and we found that... More
