I have picked strawberries here for years. When they started offering field trips we began taking our preschool students. Jeannie Flanagan is always very accommodating and the field trip is fun and informative. Learn what soybeans can become and how sweet potatoes go on vacation. This establishment is a staple of what us locals know as Pungo area. Family owned and operated for I don't even know how long, but they're always super friendly and consistently have the freshest, most indescribably wonderfully tasting locally grown produce.

My daughter and I go strawberrying every year in mid-June. It is pick-your-own. This year we brought our grandson (who just turned 2). He ate more than he put into the bucket, but they did not weigh him!

While in Virginia Beach for my step-daughter's wedding, she took us strawberry picking. We had a great time picking strawberries together as a family and eating them as we picked. Prices are awesome. We paid $2.00 for a bucket full. They also have several homemade salsas, jams, syrups, and other farm items for sell. Just a side of the road stop, but as soon as one or two cars pull in then the lot fills up fast. A nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city.…
