This was a great little boat ride. The staff was very nice and concerned that everyone was enjoying themselves. Great price.

The cruise was just fine, we were able to see the dolphins and the gentlemen on board was so nice. The lady in the station where you buy the tickets was so rude and nasty with me. She charged me for 7 people when we were 6 people. When I went to her to ask ask her to reemborce she... More

We have been coming down to Rudee Inlet for the whale watching cruise for many years. Today, drove two hours to try the dolphin cruise. We arrived 45 minutes before the 11PM tour. We were greeted at the entrance to the marina by a teen with a clip board. We told her we were there for the dolphin cruise. We... More

Went on the sunset cruise and we were not disappointed at all. Went to the lighthouses on the north end of Virginia beach and arrived just as the sun was going down. Ended up with a relaxing cruise, awesome pictures, and we actually saw a few dolphins that came within feet of the ship.

Went on the 9AM cruise. Perfect weather, got to see lots of dolphins and even an osprey diving into the water to get a fish. Staff was friendly and they take your picture before boarding if you'd like to purchase.

Took this tour in the afternoon with family (adults + kids). Tour guide was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Saw dozens of bottle-nosed dolphins swimming within 15 yards of the boat. Clean and lots of seating on lower and upper deck. Additional seating, small shop and restrooms located inside climate controlled cabin on-board. This is round-trip from Rudee's inlet... More

I have been on many dolphin tours but never saw so many dolphins. People were able to stand to view the dolphins, but no one pushed or shoved you. People did not stand in front of you if you had to be seated (due to a handicap). It was a very pleasant day with many shady areas to sit. The... More

Great boat trip. Saw tons of Dolphins and great sightseeing off the coast. Crew was fantastic and very engaging to ensure everyone knew where to look when Dolphins were spotted. Some come up to boat and a few surf the boat wake. We though the back was best. Covered so sun wasn't an issue. Snack bar was good and has... More

Took the family on a dolphin watching tour onboard the RUDEE FLIPPER this weekend and we all had a great time. The boat is run by Rudee Tours (Google the name for the website) and is near the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. The 90-minute tour is narrated and costs $21 for adults. Children under 3 are free while those 11 and... More

We went on the Rudee Flipper for the sunset dolphin cruise. It was absolutely wonderful. Staff was great and informative, did not have to wait long to board the boat. it was a fairly smooth ride until the wind started picking up. Made it all the way to Cape Henry Lighthouse and saw several dolphins swimming around the boat. So... More
