This course has so much potential it is a shame the condition it is in. Many of the tee boxes are in poor condition as well as the greens. The course was not worth the price paid and Hell's Point can get away with it because of their proximity to Sandbridge Beach. If you are looking for a great round... More

First time playing this course while on vacation. The greens are in rough shape, lots of burnt out areas on the course. Most tee areas did not even have grass. Fairways in good shape. I actually love the layout of this course. Would play great if in better shape. I guess for the cost you can not complain to much.... More

My wife and I played 18 hoes with a cart 6-10-15. A little challenging with the doglegs and water, and a lot of sand. It was a beautiful day. Course was rough and @ abt. 75% - needs work. Fairways and greens not plush - and reminded me of a country course w/ hardpan. Not what I expected in a... More

I hadn't played Hell's Point for a few years because my friends in the area had advised of condition issues. After 4 years, I decided to give it a try - glad I did. Condition problems have been resolved, the greens roll true and the only obstacle is that the course is always wet - if your game is bump... More

My boyfriend and I came to Virginia Beach for a weekend golf trip. This was the first course we played. It rained two days prior and the course was a complete muddy mess. They must not have any drainage system whatsoever. The greens were aerated, but they were still okay. The layout of the course could be nice with a... More

Whenever we're in the area, we try to make sure we can get a tee time at Hells Point - The staff is friendly, the course is well maintained and the price is reasonable. The only times we haven't had a great experience here was weather related!

This was the best course I've played since Turtle Point. Nice greens, beautiful scenery, challenging course. Lots of sand and water and even a couple of 2 year old doe on the course.

I played a round at Hell's Point with my 14 year old son. It was a weekday morning in early July during a week's rental of a beach house in Sandbridge. Our rental magazine included an offer of $10 discount when showing a rental key. We could have made a time online, which is a nice feature, but as the... More
