Went here with a group of friends. We had a blast. Good drinks, music and the comedy in the smoking room was funny. The food was OK.

I am a 10+ year youth bowling league parent and coach spouse. Today, I can say that out if all the bowling establishments I've been in over the years Pinboys is clean but their management has absolutely no spine. SO DISAPPOINTED in pinboys at the beach management right now. Another team's parents took over my son's team's table. The tables are assigned by Pinboys house rules. I asked the parents to move to the appropriate table that was empty and one parent very aggressively told me she was there first and wasn't moving. I didn't escalate the situation but went to management. Instead of enforcing the rules, management didn't even approach the parents. The management simply brought another table out and made my son's team sit in the travel path of the bowling alley. VERY UNSAFE for youth bowlers.

Pros: It's a bowling alley in hilltop Cons: Since it's the only bowling alley around, they just don't try hard. Management doesn't care about your experience at all, food is not the great bowling alley food we grew up on, and many other issues. Oh yea, make sure you read the fine print that they sneak onto the Groupon. Apparently you have to wait 24 hours after purchase before you can use it. And, if you drag your kids and their friends all the way there without knowing that, they will not make an exception. Even the well dressed manager wearing a tie claimed he was helpless to make any decisions because it all "comes down from corporate". Yea right....

Busy place. Easy parking. Very friendly staff. Shoes are $4. Each game was $1.85. All computerized. Tables for eating nearby. Everyone had a good time.

A group of eight stopped by for bowling in the afternoon. The facility was clean and fairly efficient with check in and check out. I would advice that you look at the website before you go to understand the specials. There told us about several and we asked about more that applied to us. They had plenty of bowling balls including several light ones which are often hard to find. They also had special equipment for kids available. Prices were reasonable. Be sure to ask about the senior rate if you are 60 or older which is the same price as the kids rate.
