The boardwalk at Marina Shores is falling apart from dry rot, so are the docks. The lights at night don't work ( counted 6 out ) which doesn't make one feel safe at night for a stroll after dinner. Overall, would not visit again.

i have a boat in a wet slip. Thanks for nothing Marina Shores. For the last three years, the marina provided internet as part of the slip fee for the boat. Apparently, without telling anyone at the marina, they canceled the service and Cox started billing us directly. $178.00 including an installation fee. Cox was awesome and removed the charges.... Beautiful....well maintained place. Have friends recently that live on their boat and are very happy. The Surf Rider there is fun and delicious! The Marina is situated in a very assessable, popular area.

This is the best place to enjoy the water with a boat. There is huge dry dock storage and the staff is awesome. The marina offers weddings venues and is large enough to hold 3 weddings or events at the same time. There are water sports rentals, a swimming pool, a restaurant, gas pumps to fill your boat and you... More

We went to Marina Shores last night to eat at Surf Rider that has just reopened on the 25th for the summer. It was a beautiful night looking over the marina. Great local hangout.

There were no businesses open on that day. No restaurants, no boat rentals, no gift shops. Totally people-less.

I am in the process of moving to Va. Bch area from Wrightsville, NC. I’ve visited a few potential homes for my boat and Marina Shores at the top of the list. They seem to have access to services for a fun time boater. Too many marinas in the area need repairs, need to train their people in customer service... More
