My wife and I had a great visit during one of the aviation museums special events. Large collection of vintage aircraft and an opportunity to take to the air for low level flights over Virginia Beach.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Those large radio-control planes are awesome indeed, but nothing beats hearing and seeing one of the historic planes from 75 or 100 years ago start up and take flight!

The regular admission is $15 for adults, but as we arrived after 3PM and were limited to touring the main building, we were charged $12 per person.

Taxi. Museum is 12+ miles from boardwalk. Didn't see a whole lot of other public transportation out of the boardwalk area.
