What can I say. I had the BEST massage in my whole entire life. Sylvia was professional and had magic hands. She knew exactly what spots to apply more pressure and she was also gentle to my sensitive spots. She allowed me to relax. She made my vacation with my husband even more enjoyable and special. My husband also got a massage and he said it was great but he can’t remember the therapist name. I would highly recommend Sylvia.

Story time. I had a deep tissue massage with Iva. She was friendly and very strong. The massage itself was great, unfortunately I did not leave a tip for the massage therapist because the customer service at the front is, to be kind, terrible. I asked Joshua at the front to make her aware of this so the service providers know why they may not have been tipped or have returning clients. I have been a spa associate (Joshua’s position), a service provider, and customer service representative for many years and have an understanding on how to handle a miscommunication whilst treating people with kindness and respect. To say the least, there should be some consideration to revaluate who is speaking with guests and how to handle a simple miscommunication. When checking out, I handed Joshua the gift card I used for a partial payment for my service and he very abruptly said that I would need to pay my remaining balance in cash only. I said I only brought my debit card because when I called to make the appointment there was no specification that any payment made in addition to a gift card must be collected in cash only. He raised his voice and hands and said I told you that. Continued multiple times talking over me, arguing that he said this over the phone. He didn’t but for arguments sake.. A respectful and kind response would be, “I believe when we spoke last week, I informed you of this policy, however I do apologize for this immediate inconvenience. There is an atm just across the street and I’m happy to put your transaction on hold while I wait for you to return”. Simple enough. I told Joshua that he made me very uncomfortable by the way his tone abruptly changed to anger and this was a terrible experience with him. Coming out of a massage and having someone speak to you that way is just not cool. I said, I guess I’ll go to an atm and I walked out. When I returned I asked for the manager, he said she would be in tomorrow and I could call in the morning. While he was getting my change, I asked if he thought the way he handled that was okay? He apologized and said he doesn’t think it was okay and said “unfortunately, that is just the way I talk”. That’s fine.. but then you should not be dealing with clients. Your whole job is talking to people. So I asked him to go over the policy how he would any other time. He mumbled through some things about normally retrieving the guests cc info to reserve an appt but in these cases when someone has a gift card, they will use that in place of the cc. He said he remembered telling me there would be a certain amount due ($18) for the remaining balance and that would need to be paid at the time of service. I asked again, in general, what does he say about the payment policy. He went through it again, and did not mention once that payments must be cash or that tip is required in cash either. This next part.. I considered not sharing but, I feel it goes along with my point that who you have dealing with your patrons shapes what kind of business you are. When I was waiting for my massage therapist, Joshua came out from behind the counter and asked me about my sandals and continued talking about my feet for at least 5 min. While pointing his cell phone toward my feet. Normally, I brush that sort of thing off because, if I had a dollar for every awkward, unwarranted conversation with someone talking about something dealing with my body that I’ve had to sneak away from, I would be v rich. In conclusion, no matter how great a service provided is, the person(s) you have representing your company and the way they treat people is what will make or break the guest experience.

Great massage experience along with a wonderful facial. Have had several massages here, and both therapists I've had have been knowledgeable, well trained and show genuine concern for your massage experience and the contributing long term results to your health and wellbeing. Recently, this business has added facials, skin care and waxing services. On my last visit, I tried the facial, and it was truly worthwhile. My skin feels much softer and looks healthier, and I plan to make this a regular addition to my skin care. The business is very clean and pleasant and you get a welcoming reception from beginning to end. The services are reasonable priced.
