first time parasailing. decided to go with my 7 year old son. made my reservation over the phone. girl on the phone could have been a little more friendly but I didn't care. when we got there, there was one stand. apparently Captain Mickey doesn't own the company any more. So the rudee inlet parasail is combined with adventure parasailing.... More

Took my two kids with me, captain and his helper very courteous and professional - felt very safe - don't pay extra for pictures as you can take your own. An amazing and beautiful experience, it's so quiet and peaceful up there. I'll admit, the height scared me a little, but I'm proud of myself for doing it.

After reviewing many of the notes below, I felt the need to contribute. I went on 3 of Rudee's boating excursions: 1) Dolphin Sight Seeing Cruise... while we did see a few dolphins they were a little harder to detect as the water was a little choppy... but, I had a blast just riding on the top deck of the... Tips: - do a little research ahead of time, call a couple of the parasailing places listed on those tourist brochures - check out the coupon books - we scheduled our trip to be first thing in the morning, worked out great. Also came with discount - charges based on length of line 600, 800, 1000 ft - questions to... More

was super excited to go parasailing. ended up getting scared on the way out cuz the guys started talking about seeing great whites earlier in the day (it was a tiny boat). asked for a refund instead of going up in the air, was told no. i wasn't going to waste $130 not to go up. ended up in the... It was our first parasailing together and we loved it. The tour pricing is a bit expensive but the experience is amazing! I liked that they could take our pictures and give it to us immediately as we got out the boat in a memory card.

As long as you read the reviews and heed the various warnings you find, parasailing is fun for the kids. You almost have to let them do it once just for the experience. My kid has no interest in going again; it just wasn't that exciting. Don't pay for the photo package, go in the morning if possible because the... More

We went parasailing while we were in Virginia Beach last week. We did not make a reservation, and they accommodated us within 10 minutes of when we arrived. We had two guides with our family of four on the boat - no other customers. They gave us lifevests and explained the safety equipment to us and then we went up... More

I was looking forward to the parasaling experience for a while now but it was honestly not worth the 181 dollars I paid. The lady that checked us in was not very friendly and she seemed irritated by our questions. They sold us a digital picture package for 35 dollars with pictures that I could have easily taken with my... More
