My husband and I were on board the dolphin cruise on July 2. 2022...11 am cruise...when I became sea sick and passed out and threw up. The staff went above and beyond checking on me. Providing my husband with waters and gatorade to give me. They kept checking to see.if we wanted medical on site once we docked. Which we declined. They allowed all others to leave boat once docked so I could take my time getting off. I just want to say thank you to you all. We did see dolphins on that trip and had wonderful drinks from the inside bar/snack counter. Thank you for your kindness

Our big family group did the 1.5 hour regular dolphin tour. We watched dolphins just outside the inlet for a bit, and then the captain sped up so the dolphins would play in the wake. It was so cool! The boat itself was nice and big, with a lower and upper deck, and there’s an air conditioned cabin where you can buy drinks/snacks. The staff on the intercom told us dolphin facts and pointed out which side of the boat the dolphins were on, so no one would miss them. I wasn’t sure if we’d just see dolphins in the distance, but they were jumping and twirling right by the boat! This dolphin tour exceeded my expectations. Thanks!

If you're choosing between the aquarium's dolphin watching and this one, choose this one! The aquarium boat is usually packed like sardines, you will have a much better experience on this less packed boat

You want to come to Virginia Beach during the off season December, January, and February just to go on the Whale watching Tour that Rudee Tours gives:)) My wife Maria, and I went to Virginia Beach the day after Christmas. We saw Whale watching advertised, and were surprised that you can see Whales in Virginia Beach. We found out that Whales migrate South for the Winter so you can only see the Whales at Virginia Beach during the months of December, January, and February. We wanted a full wildlife Tour, but that was sold out all three days that we were going to be there. They only had a few slots left of the Whale watching tour which is a two hour tour. We definitely got what we paid for. It was only 35 dollars each so 70 dollars for the two of us. There was others on the boat as well. We had to go out 16 miles that day to get to where the whales were. The whales were so beautiful to see them jump out of the water making a huge splash. The staff was very knowledgeable about Whales, and the different kinds of whales that one can see off the shores of Virginia Beach. The tour was fun, and very educational. This is an excellent thing to do for families, and to take kids. It may be warmer, but it can get very chilly out there on the Atlantic Ocean so make sure that you dress warmly for the tour. This is a must see. Commercialization is all the same no matter where you go, but nature is different from region to region so you don't want to miss out on this tour.

Our family of 4 took a half-day fishing trip with Rudee Tours and had a great time! We weren't sure upon boarding if we would catch anything with many other passengers, but once we got to a good fishing spot, we started catching quite a bit! Among the 4 of us, 40-50 fish. Seas bass, trout, and croakers. One of the men next to us even caught a baby shark! Due to size restrictions, we were only able to keep 5 to take back to our rental property, but that was fine. We considered the day a success. The crew was great. They helped when lines got tangled, baited the hooks, and helped release caught fish that we could not keep. They provided buckets and ice for the fish we were able to keep. The snack bar and air-conditioned cabin area inside were great on a hot morning! Once back to the shore, there was a stand at the docks to scale and filet the fish, and the cost was very reasonable. We took our catch and had a delicious, fresh seafood snack. :-)
