Ok I guess, clean self tour, mostly world war 2, but while the exhibits were well presented it wasn't interesting enough for the teenagers with the family.. Augusta Military museum was much better!

It is a newer museum that looks at the military history of the Shenandoah Valley through the present day, with exhibits throughout the military history of the valley. It is worth a stop.

It was very interesting seeing all the uniforms from the first battles with Indians to current..there was a lot of information to read..we were offered a tour or self guided and for this one chose self guided..small gift shop area and clean restrooms.for anyone interested...More

Museum is very well done, excellent history of regiment. Volunteers are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Anyone with interest in the 116th Regiment should definitely have a look.

The retired members of the 116th Infantry Regiment are on hand to answer questions about their exhibit, which ranges from the Revolution thru modern day. Interesting exhibits and artifacts presented in a logical understandable fashion.
