I hate to give a low score because the site is much better than it was. It needs more money to make it great. If you are headed to Bedford, please stop and get more info on DDay and the unit.

A must see for military buffs. Don't let the aluminum building fool you. Great museum that traces the history of the Stonewall Brigade from the beginning, thru WW2, to today. Very well arranged museum that does not overwhelm you but tells the story. They only ask for a donation and it was well worth the $5 per person we did.

It is a newer museum that looks at the military history of the Shenandoah Valley through the present day, with exhibits throughout the military history of the valley. It is worth a stop.
