I have been going to the Mayfest from the very first one. Being a local gal my life, I have been raised in the town, raised my children in this town and able to see my grandchildren attend the activities in the town. It is...More

This is a fun event that happens every year. If you like small towns and their activities, then this is it. Lots of local vendors and things to see. The parade is fun too. Seems like everyone participates in down home fun.

I wouldn't wast my time going to the Strasburg Mayfest any more! The parade in recent years has gotten smaller and smaller. It looks like the number of food vendors has decline and the prices gone up. The town council and Chamber of Commerce are...More

As my wife was going through the paper on Friday morning she spotted May Fest. We arrived in Strasburg about 10:30 and got one of the last parking places in town, an omen for the rest of the day. After walking and enjoying the Fest,...More

A great small town celebration with lots of entertainment, food (local restaurants and street vendors) and stuff for sale. Really well put together.

We arrived on Friday and got to see the preliminary fun, before the big weekend. Our friends were from the area and we are from a small town, so we appreciated the effort required for this kind of festival. We enjoyed some local music and...More

Beautiful weekend for this little festival in 2012. Saturday is the big day, by Sunday fewer vendors set up. In past years felt craft quality higher, possibly was better on Saturday. Some games for kids, a few pricy food trucks. Worth attending.

I'm sorry, I'm sure people worked very hard for this event but there is nothing unique about it. It seems to be more of a community event vs anything for tourists.
