I took two pre-teens here for a pre-dinner walk. We enjoyed the wildlife and walking around the outbuildings, but none of the visitors' centers were manned and there was little signage to guide us or help us plan to come back at a better time.
Claude Moore park is a very popular spot in Loudoun for sports lovers and other recreational activities. Besides many sports and workouts, it has an indoor mountail climing facility. There are cultural and educational activities that take place too. It is definitely worth a visit.
The USSSA Travel Softball held its World Series tournament at this park. Fields were in excellant shape. Had rain storm on first day. Field maintenance work on these fields and got them back in shape very quickly. Great place to play ball.
