We are a classic 2 screen drive-in theatre, celebrating 60 years of movie memories "Under the Stars". We are the only drive-in theatre still operating in the Northern Va/DC/MD metro area. We offer classic car speakers, a playground for children, special events through out the season. Movies projected in High Definition Digital, stereo 5.1 surround sound if you use a car radio. Full service concession stand, offering hot meals to standard theater snacks. Double Feature movies of current or new movies are our standard offering, but we do triple and dusk to dawn shows as well. We are PET FRIENDLY-- so bring your dog(s) to the movies!

We were not aware of the place unless we came across a Groupon. So we finally drove 65 miles to see "Ice Age - Collision course". Was it worth it? Read it here in the next few lines ( this is not a review of the movie) So, the place is easily accessible and seems to be pretty decent. It... More

We live the same distance between two drive in s. Both have pros and cons. This one has some organizational issues but the drive there is better and the can accommodate more people. They are actually cheaper as well. Major two pros are the coupon at Groupon is amazing. The second was brilliant. You can bring in your own food... More

First visit here - they actually have functioning speakers you can hang on your car windows. You also have the option of dial in on your radio. Sound was good, picture was good. If you bring in outside food you have to pay $5 fee. They have really bathrooms, not just pot-a-potties. Snack bar that has burgers, chicken fingers, snack... More

Oh my gosh---took me back in time to a more peaceful, respectful, less complicated existence--It was a perfect night- weather ideal; no bugs, starlight. The movie screen was easy to see from any vantage-point; the sound was more than adequate; restrooms clean and well-maintained. The movie was terrific also, but just to be outside with family was something that will... More

We took the kids and cousins age 2 to 15 and the kids all loved it. Pull up to a speaker, and catch a double feature from the trunk of your car, or the roof if you like!! We got a groupon deal which is offered quite frequently so it was affordable for the kids to see 2 first run... More

60th Anniversary event was busy. We arrived at 6pm for a 9pm showing (luckily we bought tickets in advance)... There were barely any more spots available. This is a family outing - arrive early. Bring food or buy concessions. There is a kid playground. Concessions pricing was reasonable. Facilities were clean but small - city won't let them expand. The... More

This little jewel is an awesome place to take the family. It is wonderful for all ages. Grandpa gets excited as he shares the traditional movie watching experience with the grandchildren. Grandchildren have a swing and play area before movie starts. So no one is bored. You get two movies on the screen. Park your car and watch the movies.... More

I want to give this drive-in a score of 4, because overall it's a neat place, but there is one major reason I cannot. The lines for concessions are LOOOOOOONNNNGGG, as well as those for the women's bathroom (only 3 stalls). We brought a group of 6 girl scouts there the other night, and 4 of our girls waited in...
