Take a leisurely stroll to admire both the beauty and the craftsmanship that is no longer available to us. Spend an hour or so looking at and reading the history of each window. Thank you Trinity for allowing us to Grace you’re beautiful church

Beautiful church with very nice Tiffany stained glass windows. I wish we could have heard the organ play. It is open during part of the year at 1pm. We were a bit early, so we walked around the church which was interesting in itself.

We were amazed at all the stained glass windows down by Tiffany. The light and colors are very special. Open to the public from 1 to 4 pm on the week days. Still used for worship on Sundays.

What a beautiful, spiritual, respite during your travels. Situated on an elevated knoll, this historic church is surrounded by gravestones (no one of national significance), beautiful trees and peaceful alcoves. The interior is noted for the organ, windows, and other appointments. There is material available for a self-guided tour. If the doors are locked, the staff is very helpful in welcoming you in. We met several people who were most cordial and helpful in directing us through the town.

This is worth seeing for the stained glass windows alone, of which 7 are gorgeous Tiffany windows. But the church is very historic with a fascinating story, so highly recommend picking up the brochure in the vestibule which tells you about everything. Right now the church is open 1-4 M-F, but check their website first.

Don't miss this classic church with stained glass by Tiffany. The current building is the third Trinity Church. The original building was the only place the Virginia Legislature ever met other than Richmond. Mr. Jefferson brought the Legislature to Staunton during the Revolutionary war. If you are in town on Sunday feel free to attend services and enjoy an impressive organ and Choir.

Trinity was the site of revolutionary leaders gathering when chased out of central Virginia, and the church has served through the centuries. The Tiffany windows are a major draw, but the Taylor Boody organ is exceptional, too, and the church has an outstanding music program. But it's also a church that serves its community, with free lunch programs and other efforts to reach out to people in need. Free guided tours are generally available on Friday afternoon; check their website to be sure of hours. They have several services every Sunday, and the special music on Christian holidays is exceptional.

We visited this church while visiting Staunton for the day, . We found the windows to be beautiful and the church is in easy walking distance of other historic district places of interest.

A must see place to visit while in Staunton. Many of the stained glass windows were Tiffany. Very nice altar and organ as well. Old attached cemetery.
