Chip and his wife have done a nice job in getting this winery going for the past couple years. The snacks and dinners are top notch and the staff is always pleasant to deal with. Weekends are always busy so get there early!

Went for a mid-day wine tasting and lunch. The wine tasting was pretty cool, but lunch was just okay. It's a winery, so the expectation should remain on the wine. I brought a we bottles to take home.

Drive from Chicago when there are at least two flights an hour into Washington National? Well, I don't think TSA is too happy about folks bringing wine aboard an airplane and for reasons unknown, Virginia wineries will not ship to Illinois (some will use a...More

I enjoyed the ambiance. The kids room was very nice as well. I did the wine tasting with several friends while kids played. Looking forward to going again soon.

The road is gravel. You may be able to have someone drop you off where a paved area is accessible, but I don't remember the outdoor wedding site that well. I would call the winery for more specifics.

Yes, there are two types of sampling. One is less expensive and you get less samples. To find the hours of operation, you can google them and find their web page which gives more information.
