Hi David! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your Go Ape Adventure. We are so happy that you and your mom had a good time on the course. Hanging out in the trees is definitely a great way to spend the day! Experiencing the Go Ape course without a staff member in the trees with you is part of what makes the adventure unique! During the initial 30 minute training session, our instructors make sure that every guest understands the safety rules and advice. Guests are then monitored directly as they traverse the first section of the course. Once guests have passed through training and Site 2, they are free to continue through the course at their own pace. Of course, instructors are always patrolling the course from the ground and are nearby to help if needed. We've found that this freedom in the trees gives guests a real sense of independence and accomplishment. In the event that a participant cannot continue, we do have procedures in place to safety help them down from the trees. We appreciate your honest review and hope to see you in the trees again soon! Cheers, LJ
