The staff is very patient with the kids, very safety conscious but also encouraging. The kids LOVED IT including my teeny tiny 6 year old who was able to finish the course. The staff is very covid aware and I felt very safe there. There are so few entertainment options for kids right now- this was a perfect place to forget about covid for a bit and just have fun. We can't wait to return.

We were looking for a family activity that would keep teenagers interested and this was it. They all told me that this was much more fun than they expected and all had zero complaints. Staff is excellent and they let my family skip to the front on most sections because they were going through the course quickly.

Your not in the trees for the entire 2.5 hours so you can drink water and use the rest room if need be. The equipment was top notch and my family was never stuck behind slower groups. Would do it again. Probably an absolute no go if anyone in your group has even a little fearful of heights.

I did the TreeTop Adventure with my daughter's girl scout troop. It was a great workout and fun! The Go Ape staff were friendly, efficient and organized. There was staff at the beginning and end of every course. Our group did all three courses in under an hour and were able to do two of the three courses twice. We would definitely do this again.

Throughout the whole experience my harness was adjusted ONCE. We were told it would be adjusted by the staff, which it wasn't. So we all adjusted our own. I ended up with a huge bruise because of the ill fitted harness.
Also I was given a different harness from the rest of the group. Which I assumed was because of my weight, which is totally fine, but no on explained why and how it was better for my body.
The course, on many platforms were used by dead trees and make it unstable.
The zipline landing was not planned well at all. I have been to many other tree top adventures and this one had the WORST zipline landing.
The employees were all grouped in the main areas. I only saw one person walking the course once.
Way overpriced for the experience. Only two of the courses were actual challenges the rest were just walking across platforms....very disappointing.

There is an obstacle on one of the courses that can cause an unlucky person to become stranded on a high platform with no way to move their trolley forward. Long story short, through no fault of my own, I ended my Go Ape experience sobbing with terror while dangling 50 ft above the ground attached to an employee who did not know how to get us down. I'm not afraid of heights, just of being in a dangerous situation with someone who isn't in control of said situation. I sent a letter to Go Ape headquarters explaining what happened and they ignored me. Too much to hope they'll actually address this major design flaw. Go if you must, but bear in mind that you might get more "adventure" than you bargained for.

Booked for 3 hour adventure but the crew said it was getting dark and shut down a half hour early. #2 unclear instructions resulted in two younger boys not being about to go on any course. Crew seemed unwilling to accommodate the two younger boys on the smaller course.

I did the Treetop Adventure over the weekend with my boyfriend. We had nothing but positives to say about the staff, the courses, and the logistical organization of the park. The staff was amazing at the park. They were friendly, helpful, supportive and we literally did not encounter a single staff member who we would say otherwise about. The way they organized who went on which course, when, was great. Despite having many groups there, we never had to wait for a group ahead of us because the staff was so organized. Each of the adventure areas was so much fun as well. It was a great mix of challenge yet do-ability. We really had an amazing time!

My husband and I had an awesome time! Prepare to laugh and use every muscle in your body. Great place for kids but also empty nesters like us. Fun place to focus on each other and really connect. Don’t plan on anything fancy afterwards unless you have time to shower and change. Getting sweaty and dirty is part of the fun. Absolutely recommend!

Thank you for rating your recent visit to Go Ape - Springfield! We hope you made some great memories on your zip lining adventure. The course definitely has some challenging parts, but there's nothing like getting through a tough obstacle and the reward of ziplining back down to the forest floor. We are sure future guests will appreciate your tips & insights. See you in the trees! Best, -MP

Remove the racist manager at south run.
Specify the types of gloves preferred.
Relocate to an actual building versus a trailer park.
PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING! I was so close to calling the state and getting this establishment shut down.
Work on organizing as far as use of the various activities.

Hello there, Thank you so much for your feedback. We appreciate all guests at Go Ape, and we do our best to treat everyone with the respect they deserve. All guests receive a confirmation email once their reservation is made. In this email we do mention that latex gloves are not recommended. We encourage you to wear something more durable. We also have gloves available for purchase on site if you do not have proper gloves. We are located in South Run Park, and not a trailer park. We are a completely outdoor activity and our building is used primarily for check in and equipment storage and serves both our team and guests just fine. Our top priority is the health and safety of our guests and staff and we take social distancing very seriously. We ask that guests maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet during check in and briefing. We also require guests from different groups to maintain at least one crossing (more than 6′) distance from other groups. We are continuously reevaluating to make sure we are in line with CDC recommendations. Please feel free to reach out directly if you have any other comments or suggestions, and we'll be happy to help! Thank you, LM
