This is where your new favorite whisky comes from! At Copper Fox Distillery we dedicate ourselves to making great American spirits by emphasizing a combination of innovation and tradition. We start from scratch, floor malting our locally grown barley, flavoring the grain with apple and cherry wood smoke, then aging with a progressive series of hand toasted wood chips in used bourbon barrels. All of our fine spirits are available for tasting and purchase at the distillery. We look forward to seeing you.

My husband and I visited this distillery while on a trip to Shendandoah. The distillery was small and very welcoming. The whiskey has quite a different aromatic taste. I definitely recommend this to all whiskey lovers!

Tired of wine? Want to try something different? These nice people are the place to visit. We took home some gin as a commemorative gift for my parents 55th anniversary as well as some of the whiskey for ourselves.

Local distiller of top notch bourbon. Good tour and tasting. Definitely worth swinging by as you head into (or away from) the Shenandoah mountains. A family run place; thier output keeps getting awards; justifiably so; buy some; you will not be disappointed.

Rural setting near river and antique store so animals could stay in car but not inside the distillery....
