I've been here too many times to count. Have had picnics, gone fishing, and launched canoes into the Meherrin River.

Going to Whittle’s Mill is a must if you are ever in Mecklenburg County! I have lived here my whole life and had never been. After I went, I have been wondering why I had waited so long. It’s the perfect place to visit for...More

Very nice and calming effect while there. Take a picnic and go down on the sand for a pleasant time. Little out of the main stream. but country side drive is worth it. It would e beautiful in autumn..

Nice spot to view and picnic at an historic grain mill. Nice water falls. Probably need to get good directions in South Hill to visit this site. Excellent place for Fall footage and good for pets too...

Great place for swimming. Very dog friendly. Nice short trail, not any picnic tables available which is a downer. Nice place to practice photography.

Beautiful Southern History at its finest. The Town of South Hill maintains the park and keeps it clean. Nice to stop by, have a picnic, take some pictures, take a dip in the Meherrin when it's warm out. Great place to stop and relax

If you have anything else on your calendar, do yourself a favor and do those things and forget about visiting this place. It was very disappointing. There is really nothing much to see here.
