Reserved on app, used point to pay half room rate, req ADA room or first floor. Staff did not acknowledge when came in, wanted to charge 157.00 for first floor, have smoking rooms but just wires where fire alarm is suppose to be at. Light in room is still from when building was built, room was old it was clean but old. Knew room was clean from the smell of Clorox. I stayed in some places that were old but clean, staff was accommodating and friendly, they weren’t great but it was clean and safe. Our parents have hit their senior years and we have lost one which has us traveling from PA to Florida and Texas. This was one of those trips. If you’re tired, want to just sleep some where safe and clean. Don’t do it here

We cancelled our reservation about 10 minutes after checking in. The room was horrific. Stained bed covers with cigarette burns, marks on walls, dirty floors, dirty fridge, dirty toilet and then realized it was also broken and wouldn't flush. Broken drawers (literally fell off when I tried to open). Broken phone. Would never recommend anyone stay here and find it outrageous this hotel is able to get away with this. Cannot believe Wyndham has its name associated with it either. I considered the Wyndham brand reputable but after this experience I am extremely hesitant to stay at any of their hotels. Although the receptionist was nice to us - don't waste your money, time, health and safety staying here.

So nasty and non smoking room is still smells cigarette and mattress is even burnt with cigarette. I ask the receptionist to transfer me but still give me another room that smell smoke. But atleast it was bearable and too tired to argue and transfer my luggage again. No more travelodge for me in the future. Receptionist was so unfriendly and try to argue that he gave me a non smoking room.

The whole place is rather beat up. Housekeeping staff is not doing a good job. Dirty, moldy coffee machine, dirty floor, cabinets near repair, dirty towels in hallway, no toilet paper in room, gnats all around bathroom sink, etc. If we weren't so tired...we would have left.

Very unclean, outdated room. Bedspreads had visible holes, wrinkled, dirty. The fabric apron around the beds were scuffed up & dirty in several places. Under the mattress pads the mattresses were stained & old. Bathroom ceilng tiles left out due to fixing of leaks which was not finished, inches of caked on dust on wires & ceiling bulb with no cover. Shower head installed NOT at average height. Floor boards throughout warped & uneven due to dampness. Obvious odor of mildew. Only one lamp & 1 overhead light which was dim. Poor lighting. Very uncomfortable stay.

The premises are filthy and unkempt. Trash is on the ground outside of the rooms and also inside of the rooms. Big trash bins are outside the rooms and full to the top. I had to change rooms because the first room was full of congealed Coca-Cola droplets on furnishings and floors. The second room’s freezer had decaying remnants of moldy food, the chairs had food crumbs, and other discarded paper was on the floor. The staff was very unfriendly and uncaring. Avoid this place like the plague.

We chose this place to stop along the way on our road trip. Now I know you get what you pay for and I wasn’t expecting much, but blood on the blankets and the smell of the room was absolutely disgusting. My clothes reeked of that room. Never again.

The doors open 1 hour before the show, but how early do you have to line up to get good seats?
Written February 20, 2018
We showed up early and got some great seats. But, as the show time crept closer, the staff rearranged and added seats in front of us for their friends and totally ruined the view. People in front of us, who had been there for a while were told to move to make room for others.
This place is small, so if you're listening to music you should be fine. Just don't expect your seats or view to remain the same.

how is seating handled? Is it first come first served? Or do we get there early to get seat assignments (like birchmere)? Thanks!
Written October 21, 2017
I believe it's first come first served, but we had VIP tickets which were worth every penny! We got priority seating in the first couple of rows!! I say, pay the extra $$ and enjoy the show, it's a great venue!!😉

I'm going to the Harvester for a show in a couple of weeks. I've searched online and can't find this question anywhere. Are food and drinks allowed to be BROUGHT INTO the venue? I already know they sell stuff inside but I've seen food trucks outside the venue as well.
Written March 27, 2017
HI to answer your question: No outside food or drink are allowed in the venue. We often do have food trucks parked out front, but not for all shows. You can always email us directly to find out about food trucks for the night of your show. We highly recommend visiting one of the restaurants in town. You can find a listing on the Visit Page. Need anything else please call the Box Office 540-484-8277 T-F 10a-4p.. Thanks we look forward to seeing at the show!!

Hi, I have a couple questions. What is the dress code? I'm attending an evening show. Also, I bought gold seat tickets and I want to be in the first row. I am attending an 8pm show. I've never been to the venue before. I read doors open at 7pm. I am aware seats are first come, first serve. Should I arrive extra early to assure seats in the first row?
Written September 13, 2015
The Harvester doesn't have an expected dress code, so dress comfortably and to suit you. Just please be aware that the venue us for all ages. If you want a front row seat, you should show up early.
