We had a wonderful time on the Sunday brunch tour. The food and beverage offerings were excellent and, even though we've lived in the Roanoke Valley for years, we learned some new and interesting facts about the Star City from our great tour guide, Becky. She was right on the ball at every location, making sure our food was served... More

I gave this to my wife as a present and wasn't exactly sure what to expect. After living in Roanoke for 30+ years and dining out regularly, I didn't think there would be much that was new to experience and taste on this tour. WRONG! This was so much fun! It was educational, entertaining, and very, very tasty. Gilbert was... More

Amelia our tour guide was great! Her memory for dates and history combined with an obvious passion for food and the city really made the tour great. It's an awesome way to spend an afternoon getting to know a new city and enjoying some really good food!!

This was my second time on the Roanoke Food Tour. There were some changes to the places we stopped at but I still got plenty to eat. The best thing was the Shrimp n Grits at Billy's. I am not sure any food on any tour will ever beat that! The BEST part of this tour was Becky! She was... More

I could not imagine what a brunch tour would be. It far exceeded my expectations. For someone that does not drink alcohol brunch invitations don't have much allure. The wonderful drinks were lost in me during this tour but the bars and restaurants were fantastic. My expectations of Roanoke were low so I was very impressed with the unexpected diversity... More

We learned a lot about Big Lick and had some great food. Peanut Soup at the Hotel Roanoke and a famous Cheesy Western at the Texas Tavern were my favorites. Gilbert was a life long resident and knew his history about the downtown area. Seven food stops in all so we finished the walk about FULL. Everything was excellent.

We met our 20 yo granddaughter in Roanoke and took the Downtown Food and Cultural Tour with Amelia as our tour guide. She was fantastic - incredibly knowledgeable about Roanoke, it's history and the food scene. We walked the downtown area and sampled food and beverage in seven establishments. My favorite was the shrimp and grits at Billy's. My husband's... More

We went to some fabulous restaurants, we had some great food, we met nice people, we learned a lot about Roanoke and had a lot of laughs along the way. Amelia was a great tour guide. The best way to see a new (or known) city.

Just finished the tour. Becky was great...full of information about the history and current events of Roanoke. You can tell how much she loves the city. Great experience.
