I was a member here for quite a while. Green Ridge could easily get a much higher rating if they had management that cared. The fitness instructors are about two thirds great people to a one third of lazy people who are there to collect a paycheck. The machinery in the workout area is usually good stuff but poorly maintained.... More

The water is 3ft 6in deep. There is a small lazy river but no tubes. There are at least 6 lifeguards that are always scanning the swimmers. The place is clean and the bathrooms are clean. There are 2 big slides and a small one. There is a climbing area with water for smaller kids. This is a family friendly... More

As water parks go, this one is small. Three slides, none for the thrill seekers but a nice afternoon visit for us. We live in a town that's home to Adventure Island so we're spoiled. However for a splash park attached to a local recreation center this a great and pocketbook friendly local retreat.

This place is gross. This place smells so strongly of chlorine you know it's burning off an insane amount of organic material in the pool. My child went to two birthday parties here, and we now very unaffectionately call it "Ringworm Valley" as she got in contact with it both times using the pool areas. Don't go!

Our family of 4 (kids aged 6 and 12) recently visited the Splash Valley Outdoor Waterpark. Although the Waterpark was relatively small and crowded, the kids really enjoyed themselves. There was a play area for the smaller kids, 2 big waterslides that adults can go on and a floatless lazy river. Don't expect to spend the entire day here, but... More

I recommend this to anyone who lives in Roanoke and this is also highly recommended for those who are not Roanoke residents. Price for residents is great and if you are not a resident you can bring the kids for a great price. I visit here every year with my kids, friends, and grand kids. All the kids leave happy... More

The outdoor splash pool and lazy river and water slides are a highlight. It does get crowded. If it rains, you get to come again for free. Food is available.

Its a nice facility but its always intensely crowded. Not relaxing at all. Water depth is about 4 feet max. Only 2 adult swim lanes that are Very Short.

If you are visiting go to Green Ridge for a workout. There is an indoor pool, cardio equipment, free weights, etc. Plenty of equipment with no waiting. The facility is huge with locker rooms, showers, game room, group classes, etc. $7 for a day pass. In the summer the Splash Valley outdoor pool with water slides is great for the... More
