Shopping with Teenagers
Jan 2021
We were not sure where to go; could use some better signage for the main entry; very nice mall on the inside with lots of folks shopping, but careful with personal masks and social distancing noted in all the stores we shopped.

Still Basically Bustling
Dec 2019 • Solo
Reasonably busy, middle class shopping mall. Outparcels include Michael's, Target. In-mall options include Old Navy, Christopher and Banks, Carter's, Ulta, Macy's, etc. Sears recently closed. Good parking. Expect crowds in November, December.

Excellent mall to spend with family and friends. It is one stop mall to eat, shop, holiday. It has host of eating places, high end clothing stores for all ages to explore.

Largest mall in the area
Sep 2019
If you need to go to the mall to shop or if you are looking for something to eat, then this is the place to go in Roanoke. Largest indoor mall in the area. There is a food court inside, and there are many restaurants directly outside of the mall. There are a lot of good choices for shopping in the mall including Barnes and Noble, JC Penneys, Old Navy, Bath and Body Works, just to name a few. Lots of teen clothing stores also. There are also many other stores directly outside of the mall itself including Dicks Sporting Goods, Walmart and Target. Mall is located next to the airport.

Decent restaurants
Aug 2019
The mall has a decent selection of restaurants. I have never actually done any shopping in the mall, as I am not a fan of large malls.

daytime exploring
Mar 2019 • Couples
Friday morning mall explorations offered a non- crowded time to browse department stores and boutiques without much noise or stress. There is a large selection of stores and the staff throughout the mall were very friendly and engaging!

Build-a-Bear Trip
Feb 2019 • Family
Received great customer service at Build-a-Bear. Somewhat bustling on a Saturday afternoon. Many nearby restaurants, Carter's, Children's Place, large Old Navy. Closing stores include Gymboree, Crazy8, Things Remembered. Still maintains a Sears.

I had hours to spend here and I really enjoyed it.

I had spent several hours to spend while I waited for my cat to have surgery nearby and I went to this mall. It had a very nice selection of stores that I like such as a Sephora (small one in the JCPenney store), Torrid, shoe stores, etc...) I would definitely come back again even though I live hours away from here.

This Mall is Going Downhill
Oct 2018 • Business
Plenty of restaurants around perimeter of mall. The stores in mall are becoming “junk stores” while the food court is marginal at best. Not the facility it was in the mid to late 1990s.

Good mall
Oct 2018 • Solo
Pros:
Right off of the interstate.
Lots of food places to choose from (date night, for kids, large parties, etc.).
Near hotels and gas stations.
Lots of stores for shopping.
Easy to navigate around for travelers as it is a large complex (it is one big circle around).

Cons:
Another reviewer said it was not in a good part of town. I do not agree with that, but it is a busy retail area that does seem to attract riff raff.
