Crew was very friendly, answered all of our questions that we had. Advised us what to do on the island once we got there. Boat ride was beautiful. The women doing the golf cart tours are very knowledgeable and the museum was worth visiting and watching the movie

Been meaning to do this trip for about 30 years. Our trip got cancelled back when we were first married. Due to island evacuation and a hurricane. We made it this time, pretty goo but well over an hour trip to Tangier. inside and outside seating which is great. We brought our own small cooler with snack and drink. Island is very small but Lorraine's lunch was very good. From Crab topped french fries , crab soup and soft shell crab...good I also had a small salad. Take the tour only about 15 minutes but you learn quite a bit. visited the gift shops and bought some nice shirts and other trinkets. The island is so small and only about 400 folks now :(

The boat ride was great- I was very upset that we were never told that there was only 1 restaurant opened on Tangier Island. The Chesapeake House is no longer opened. This was the main reason we go. No ice cream shops were opened either. I was told the island fully opened a few weeks ago. This was not the case.

The boat ride was a most enjoyable day, the weather was great, cool but sunny. The boat is very well maintained and very clean. The staff, especially the captain, was very friendly and informative. The only negative was there was only one restaurant open the day we went, guess getting late in the season, our fault for not checking before we left, but certainly not the fault of the boat or her captain. Would do the trip again in warmer weather.

Our son is learning about the Chesapeake bay watershed, so this was The boat ride was a great way to spend a beautiful Fall day with him. The ferry ride was interesting & pleasant (we also played cards to pass the time). We enjoyed our tour & then walking around the island while learning about the history. The people were so friendly & welcoming. We enjoyed a scrumptious seafood lunch at Lorraine’s & purchased awesome photographs by Cameron Evans (a local photographer) for our own home. Bring cash-for purchases, tour guides & tips. There are no ATMs on the island!!!
