I have mixed reviews for the staff. Some were very helpful and nice while others were a bit grumpy and quite honestly a little bit rude. As for the activities, we took the "white water" tubing trip. I use quotes around white water because the rapids were barely little bumps in the water. Besides that, we were constantly getting stuck... More

The night in the log cabin was excellent. The cabins have recently been refitted and have power and air on. Remember to take a mattress - a long walk to the toilet so don't drink to many beers before bedtime. The zip wire course the next day was great. Good kit. Good arty procedures and knowledgeable instructors who care about... More

This was our first time with Adventure Center. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They have a well run operation. We did tubing and rafting. Our kids loved it!!

Had a great time. Zip lining was scary than I though it would be, but the instructors (especially Kelly) made us feel safe at all times. Rafting was fantastic. Terry, our guide was knowledgeable and funny. We had a blast. We will be back!

Initially we weren't sure if we would enjoy it because of traffic in a nearby bridge and trains across the river. BUT we loved it there. Spent 3 nights camping by the river and it was peaceful and beautiful. Went lazy river tubing, it was okay. Wish we had realized the whitewater tubing was the one that brings you back... More

Had a great time with whitewater rafting. Booked night before for a Monday, and for an 11 am departure it was not busy. Did get more crowded as day went on. Overall, everyone was very friendly and helpful, and the trip itself was exciting. The bus driver was very outgoing and funny, the river was both exciting and relaxing, and... More

My wife and I visited the Harper's Ferry Adventure Center today, 8/2/2016, for their white water rafting adventure. Due to the time of year and water levels, the rapids were introductory in size (class 1 and some class 2). Our guide, Terry, was extremely experienced and very personable. He was funny, had lots to say throughout the trip, and was... More

We enjoyed our visit along the Potomac river at the Adventure Center. It offers ziplines, tubing, white water rafting, or just a lazy day of camping. The facilities were great at the Mountain Top Camping (it is little more than a hill with multiple camping sites). Couple of things: Outlets are every 3rd or 4th campsite, Tent Camping is the... I bought a Groupon for two adults and three children and it was a great price and easy to use. Booking was easy and all of the team members were more than polite and helpful however I found that after calling to book there were fees that I was charged over the phone that were not listed in the groupon...
