Great Venue for Intimate Concert

We saw the Nashville Impostors at the Center. Had a great time. Plenty of parking, cold AC and beautiful drive in.

The park hosts events from time to time, and it's worth checking out for local flavor and to meet your neighbors. The entire park is lovely, with hiking, balls fields, the pond, the pool . . . and a bit of horseback riding is available.

We went for a concert recently to Franklin Park Arts Center. We had never been to the center previously but we will go back when they have a program or concert that we find interesting. The Arts Center is near the town of Purcellville, Va. One caution!! If you are using a GPS DON'T enter the address on your ticket--... More

It is a wonderful stage that can hold about 250 people in its audience seats. Nearly all seats are close to the stage and there is food in the back with washrooms as well. some big acts appear here too.

Enjoyed a fairly well done live performance of Oliver, musical. Clearly a local cast with lots of energetic youngster participating. Saw lots of proud parents. Theater is ok. Did not like that for this performance, seats were not assigned. That meant that locals who understood the process arrived early, saved seats for their latecomer friend and families. We arrived 40... Great for the younger set when it appears to be used greatly for dance and performances by middle and high school ages. Would like to see far more community emphasis for family/all ages, real coverage of classical arts and originally scripted works. Perhaps we are just too new to know the genre, but the facility and the staff were VERY... More

We traveled here to see a performance by the Loudoun Lyric Opera about a man that once lived in our hometown. What a great experience for us and the Opera was very well done and we enjoyed it very much. The opera Norton "A Civil War Opera" was well written and really told the story and the emotion of the... Went there twice this year. First, I attending an evening performance on a Friday night; enjoyed the group but the audience was a bit mixed for that evening. Felt a tad uncomfortable with some of the adult humor and the young audience attendees. Went again on a Saturday to attend a workshop. Had a great time working with the troupe.... More

This is a good local theater with good prices and good selection of a wide variety of shows. My only complaint is that the County should think about changing their alcohol policy at this venue to put it on an equal footing with others in the area. One should be able to order a glass of wine and a small... More
