I have visited this shop many times and always find something I can use/want or give as gifts. I love that everything is handcrafted by local artisans. The owner has done an amazing job of filling the store with beautiful, unique pieces. From candy, to jewelry, to art and decorative items, it's worth stopping in.

I recently visited Sweet Art Emporium in Palmyra, VA. What a gem! Tucked away in a quaint town after driving through beautiful country (pastures, old barns, etc.) is a wonderful shop. Upon entering this adorable, friendly shop, you'll know why it's called Sweet Art Emporium! A broad range of truly local art and candy - Sweet Art! The prices are reasonable; the owner, Erika, is kind and helpful; and the art is carefully selected. Definitely worth the trip!

Sweet Art Emporium is one of those happy surprises for shoppers who love picking out truly unique gifts. More than 50 local artists - from painters, jewelry makers, woodworkers fabric art and everything in between - you'll find in this lovely shop. Erika Mitchell is a quietly knowledgeable owner who lets patrons browse to their heart's content. Thank you, Erika, for discovering the talent in Fluvanna and creating such a delightful shopping experience.

Really cute shop with a wide variety of art by local artists. A little of everything from country/farm art to handmade jewelry and fine art paintings. Also had a great selection of old fashioned candy. The taffy was my favorite!

This sweet store and its committed owner combine to give our area a truly wonderful collection of art, sweets, crafts, jewelry. It has become my go-to shop for unique gifts. And my family members have discovered an easy way to find gifts for me, (And there is candy!)
When I travel, I like to find locally produced objects to buy to remind me of the places I visit. I expect visitors to our area would be thrilled to find this shop.
The atmosphere is welcoming and bright. No high pressure sales tactics, just lovingly created, carefully displayed products, from cards to pottery, wood items and unique fabrics, I always end up hanging around, even after my purchase is completed, just enjoying the feel of the place and chatting with the owner.

When you step through the door, you know this place is something special. The owner is friendly and informative; the shop is filled with an eclectic collection of handmade items that make choosing just one impossible. Plan on spending at least half an hour. I also appreciated the wide price range of items for sale. I now have a new go-to place when gift shopping for friends and family!
