Very beautiful place, I would recommend seeing it if you have the opportunity to! I went in the summer, and it was amazing. The water is really cool too

Rainbow falls is worth a visit, it is a very short walk from the car park, so ideal for those who don't have a great deal of time on their hands. We didn't see much in the way of rainbows sadly but that is not...More

Lovely easy walk to the falls with lots of viewing platforms to enable great shots. Loved the walk down a gravel pathway to the bottom of the falls too. Not too steep and worth the track.

Took about one hour fromthe Basin carpark. Mostly undercover of the forest which saved us from the slight drizzle. Not too hard, we managed with sneakers and jeans. A few other people on the path too. Falls are impressive and some good photo ops.

What a beautiful place to while away an hour. A short drive from Kerikeri town centre and on a sunny winter's day, it was the perfect place to be.

Walking distance from Woodlands Motel and conference centre and was spectacular. It is a magical place with some beautiful scenery and wildlife. I would recommend this wall to anyone, but you need good walking shoes and a camera. Wish I could spend more time there.

Its a quite nice place with cool breeze and good sun light. It happened that we got to see a Raindow @ rainbow falls. Probably rainbow shows all around the year because of it's angel of sunlight and waterfalls.

It was roaring down at full spate today and was thunderous. An awesome mass of water, great viewing platforms and a short walk down to the basin for the more adventurous . We got soaked from the spray but it was exhilarating

It's a 2 minutes drive or 7 minutes walk. Once you a there you have a 20 minutes walk on the Kerikeri Walkway. It's an interesting walk but a bit up and down but plenty to see in the landscape.

Hi, yes if you are travelling from Paihia it would pay to rent a car...15 minutes drive. Go to the Rainbow falls from the Waipapa rd end. It is too far to take a 4 yr old from the Stone Store end. .. Then its not far... More
