A small zoo/pet shop combination with lots of parrots and other small birds. You can buy some feed and hold some of the ones near the entrance. There's a good selection of birds to see, and some of them do talk - the long-billed corellas in particular have lovely soft voices. In the aviary area, some cockatiels will come and... More

Took a group of clients from work. One was in a wheelchair, which caused a little manuovering in the walk in aviary but we managed it. The group thoroughly enjoyed their time there, especially having the tame birds sitting on their shoulders and fingers.A very special thanks to the very patient operator. We will be back :)

Two couples visiting from Australia had a great interaction with the parrots. Well worth the small entry fee. Fantastic display of many types of parrots.

What a great place to visit. Great range of birds in a lovely tropical garden. The owner was great sharing knowledge & very patient with some kids who had no idea how to behave around animals (not mine). Well worth a visit.

Such fun! The birds are so friendly and unexpectedly gentle when feeding them. Hard not to get carried away talking and dancing with them, which when you look at the video later makes you realise what a dork you are...

I never write reviews and I didn't expect much from this place because birds scare me! But I loved it! When we first entered we were introduced to a variety of birds that were very friendly and walked all over us. They all had different characters and were super entertaining! Thoroughly enjoyed myself and we will definitely go back and... More

Couldn't recommend this place highly enough, probably one of Kerikeri's best kept secrets. We found it quite by accident driving to a friends house for the weekend and for $10 you will have the time of your life! The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and were happy to answer all our questions about the different parrot species. You can... More

If you love animals then you will love this place, the people are great and let you interact with these amazing birds. It's just one someone's large property that should take about an hour to walk around, but we spent 3 hours there! We enjoyed holding, petting and feeding all sorts of amazing parrots and birds. It was truly so... More
