Knowledgeable manager and she poured generous tastings. Lovely atmosphere with no pressure to purchase. (Although we did!, just too tasty not too). Nice sauvignon Blanc and Pinot noir very smooth.

We had a lovely lady serve us with our wine tasting and was most knowledgeable. The wines were superb and we all purchased wine to take home. Lovely setting

We left this winery until last as we are so glad we did as it was well worth. The staff are so friendly and helpful and love a good laugh. The wines are soooo yummy and you just have to buy one or two or three or more!!!!!!

Sold us an open bottle of sauvignon blanc rather than the bottle of pinot noir we ordered and paid for (which was more expensive). On top of that we wanted to do the tasting but got pretty much forgotten about. Understaffed and disappointing.

We are very sorry for your bad experience and apologise for the error made on a very busy day. We have made contact privately to arrange for the correct wine to be sent plus a complimentary bottle for them to enjoy. More

My wife and I were totally impressed with this winery. We rated it the absolute best wine maker across rose', reisling, bubbles and chardy. It's 5 minute bike ride out of the Village and a resainable place to bring afternoon picnic. Certainly a GREAT place to stock up on the best locally produced wines.

Having visited a number of wineries around the Napier - Hastings area we had a very high opinion of the wines and people entrusted with promoting this hugely important aspect of tourism in NZ. Sadly our experience at Palliser in Martinborough left a lot to be desired with the lady at the tasting counter giving us the impression she did... More

The loveliest of the wineries in Martinborough with a beautiful courtyard filled with white roses and spreading trees. Palliser does everything with style and they have a superb range to taste. I recommend making a day of it and booking yourself to join a cooking class with chef Jo Crabb of the Careme Cooking School.

All their wines are great. We really enjoyed the tasting, and hope to have the chance to do their cooking classes one day!

5 of us went to the wine tasting on 24/01. The lady who did it was knowledge and friendly. I enjoyed the wine, but us buying a bottle each was definitely down to her great service!
