Great wines

All their wines are great. We really enjoyed the tasting, and hope to have the chance to do their cooking classes one day!

5 of us went to the wine tasting on 24/01. The lady who did it was knowledge and friendly. I enjoyed the wine, but us buying a bottle each was definitely down to her great service!

Palliser Estate is one of my must visit wineries on any trip to Martinborough. Partly because it’s so conveniently located on the main road in and out of town but mostly because it has such a good selection of grape variety, quality and price. The vineyard has two labels. The more moderately priced Pencarrow and the elite Palliser range. They... More

our group of six stopped here on a wine tour and couldn't have been more well looked after. Our lovely hostess invited us to sit out under the shade of a tree and we tasted som awesome wines. All chose something to take home with them and it was a great place to stop. Awesome service and great wine.

Our hostess seemed a bit rushed, but then again we were there in the late afternoon and she was probably ready to go home. Tried a number of wines for $5 and some were great, others just okay. It's in a beautiful location and worth checking out if you're looking to go wine tasting.

We had a really lovely tasting experience here. It was an exceptionally windy day, and we arrived late in the afternoon on a Sunday. Our hostess spent nearly an hour with us as we tasted our way through most of the offerings, and offered suggestions for our upcoming road trip to Napier. The wines are delicious. We left with a... Had a lovely time here. Our hostess was very inviting and friendly. Balanced the information with the enjoyment nicely. The wines also happened to be to our liking (and we have been hard to please as neither of us particularly like NZ whites). We only visited a couple of other wineries in the area but we had the best experience... More

Not judging the wines here, rather the experience of the tasting and service. It was the best we had in the area and we did try a few ;-) Service was great, both knowledgeable, friendly and engaging.
