great for windsurfing and surfing. A bit busy right now with renovations happening but it will look so wonderful when these are completed. Will give you so much more to enjoy just outside your room.

A great coastal location to relax, hang out with friends and awesome sunsets. There is an amphitheater which offers shelter and plenty of beach side shops, cafes etc

Scarborough Beach is one of the best beaches in the world & some much needed work is going on there. Unfortunately this impedes your experience & views making it not much more than a construction site.

Always enjoy a visit to Scarborough beach although it can get very busy in the summer months. Parking can be horrendous but there's good public transport to get you there. Abundant restaurants cafes and bars to add to the beachside atmosphere

We visited in September 2016. Sections of the beach was under maintenance. Shops nearby. Fair amount of food options. We visited on a Sunday using public bus. Quite relaxing.

You cant beat runing into the ocean after a hot hards days work. I can always find a car parking spot and the beach is always clean and tidy. I also like how the local council have provided a dog walking area

Even though we only live south of the river we thought we would head up for a night and to take advantage of the surf. Lovely place though is undergoing construction work so limits access a bit. Still a beautiful beach. Will return soon

It's wild! Scarborough has great waves, but is also a place where most of us who grew up here got 'dumped' dozens of times. There's an infamous 'rip' that can carry even strong swimmers a long way, so it's important to... More
