Crystal blue water, low waves, good sheltered swimming for kids and grassed area for sunbathing and picnicking. Plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants close to the beach. Well maintained cycle/running track. Quite a lot of parking but can get crowded after mid morning. Patrolled.
