$140 for the privilege of watching your child row. Seriously rowing aust????
With all the costs to have children rowing I don’t think charging family and friends to watch their children compete is a way of encouraging people into the sport

18 years after the Olympics in Sydney and this place is still great. Wonderful legacy to sydney. Well designed, great parking, well organised regatta, good set up for rowers and spectators.

Such a beautiful oasis in the middle of Penrith. Highly recommended a walk or run around the lake. I prefer it in the morning as soon as the gates are open.

The concrete path around the lake is a good 5km walk around the water. Path is wide enough & has marked sides for pedestrians & cyclists. Toilets and plenty of parking onsite.
Good for a mums walk with Oran's, little kids on bikes or scooters or even doing laps on the bike for teen or family fitness.

This has to have the best cycle training track in Sydney. Each lap is 5 km, and there never seems to be too many riders on the track at any time. Plenty of parking.

The SIRC is a good venue with a flat track all around it. Great for a ride or run or walk. Perfect for teaching kids to ride. Toilets conveniently enough located about 2km apart around the course and a cafe that provides the essentials.
Have dined in the restaurant several times and always found the meals excellent.

It's a good rowing course, but they fleece you to get in $25/ day Mon - Thurs. $45 / day Fri - Sun. The only people going are parents of rowers so we have to be there everyday. No other regatta that my son attends has an admission fee. Should school events be so expensive?

Please choose the grand stand as it has shade, Tv screens and seating right in front of the presentation area. The food available was surprisingly good. All types of foods for ones who want healthy or ones who enjoy a bit of fast food. Amenities very clean. Ample parking and great shuttle bus service that gets you from you car to the main area.

Attended a large community sporting event at the regatta centre and friends and I spent some time and currency at the cafe/coffee shop which was busy.
I will cover off with actual conversations:
1. "Was your coffee worth the wait?" Reply "Just".
and later in the morning
2. "How was your chocolate?" Reply "Was warm white milk on top with a blob pf dry powdered chocolate in the bottom."
