We rode our golf cart here from stunning Flamenco beach. This beach is a snorkel beach, rocky so make sure you wear water shoes. There is great snorkeling in the reef area, we saw a lot of beautiful fish. We were disappointed because we went there hoping to see all of the sea turtles people reviewed about. We swam out... Go early to see the turtles, before the kayakers arrive. Head left over the turtle grass. The reef is close to shore and to the right. Mostly soft corals, a fair amount of fish. We saw an octopus too. There are reef sharks in the area, but no real danger if you give a wide berth. The turtles were awesome.... More

If you're into nature, outdoors and seeing animals in their habitats this is the place to have your mind blown. In the morning you will see turtles of different sizes feeding at the bottom of the ocean. Just a swim a couple of feet away from shore and you'll start to see huge sea urchins, all types of tropical fish,... More

Not as sandy as Flamenco or Zoni beaches, the water is calmer and ideal for snorkeling. We saw numerous turtles, colorful fish and coral.

If you want to get away from the touristy Flamenco beach, hike about 20 minutes along the forest reserve to get to this off the beaten path beach. Due to the forest reserve in the back, the beach is lined with small trees and you can find enough shade to spread your picnic. Since this is at west side of... More

Small pebbly beach but one of the best snorkeling beaches - to the left sea grasses and turtles - to the right of the cove reefs and fish. You can walk in the water fairly easily to snorkel. A bit of shade too.

This is the best beach for snorkeling in Culebra. We saw turtles, barracudas, stingrays, sabalo fish, octopus and other fish we have never seen.

Snorkelling was awesome. I saw 3-4 sea turtles and 2 stingrays. The beach was clean. It was a little rocky, but we wore our water shoes and it was fine.

I'm reliably informed that since the turtles feed in the morning, that is the best time to snorkel here. Just cruise about of the turtle grass and you will find some before long. I saw four of the fine, flippered fellows during a 40-minute snorkel across the bay.
