Excellent snorkeling. You have to walk to it from the Flamingo Beach parking area....squeeze through the chain link fence gate. It is a nice hike, worth doing, but stay on the trail. This beach is quiet except when tour boats arrive. There is a sign on the beach with a map showing one of the nice snorkeling areas. Some of... More

We rented the snorkeling equipment for a decent price on Culebra island & went snorkeling on Flamenco beach & Carlos Rosario beach. It took us about 30 minutes of walk on a path through the woods from Flamenco to Rosario beach, there was no one at the beach when we came.We got instructed to stay on the path because there... The view is really serene and beautiful however the beach itself is a bit rocky with little stones from the edge of the water until the water is shin high. There weren't any waves and the beach is surrounded on both sides with hillocks and forest reserve on the back so you can lie down, relax and feel like you... More

Best snorkeling since Bonaire and that says ALOT from us. Was less than a mile from VRBO and definitely a hidden gem. Many retired locals start their day snorkeling here... its that good!

Went to snorkel with Aqua Adventures and had a blast. Swam with fish and enjoyed the quite beach. Have to point out that it said that it was a nudist beach. But thankfully nobody was naked! Good place for the kids!!

This is my favorite snorkeling beach and perhaps one of the best on the island. Incredible waters and marine life

Entrance is thru an opening in the chain link fence - northwest corner of the parking lot. hiked over a hill thru the vegetation. Trail well maintained. Hot, wear good shoes, places are rocky and uneven. It is posted that Rosario is a "nudista" beach. During our stay only only two persons missing parts of their bathing suit. No big... More

You reach the beach through a locked gate in the parking lot of Flamenco beach, you ask any local and they will show you the gate. It's about half an hour hike, some of it uphill. There is nothing on the beach so take lots of water and something to eat. The first beach you see is not Carlos Rosario,... More

This beach is amazing! Very isolated our family had the entire beach to ourselves the entire day we saw not another sole! The beach is very pristine white sand but the best part is not too far our is one of the best snorkel reefs we have found. Simply amazing.

Have to sneak through a locked gate but the path is well worn. Would be very muddy if rainy. Not too bad but a steep area towards the end. Just no breeze and warm so bring water and take breaks if you are old like me! Best coral formations over to the right, but watch were you swim out. We... More
