We found an ad in a magazine in our Rincon apartment for kayaking in a clear kayak at Crashboat Beach, near Aguadilla , PR . We made an appointment with "Kelsey" who went above and beyond to coordinate and make our experience very easy. The two single kayaks that we requested were ready for launching when we arrived. We were given cold water and two power bars in a small cooler. "Geoff", the other half of the team and the guide and leader of our kayak tour gave us an excellent safety briefing and a complete explanation for operating the kayaks. We launched, paddled over a sunken ship wreck and piers that were at the bottom of the water, reefs and a number of fish. "Geoff" did an excellent job of explaining the complete uniqueness of the kayak and the area we were exploring! We highly recommend this tour and experience to anyone. The team of "Kelsey and Geoff" were very professional and customer oriented!

Most Beautiful beach I think I’ve ever been to. The water was clean, warm, aqua blue, and there were plenty of food and drink spots on the beach. Also DJ and of course everyone else’s music playing. Just made this place even better. However, I did get a parking ticket because I parked on a “yellow line” I’m not from there and didn’t see the no parking sign anywhere, guess I didn’t try hard enough cause it was there. But when I parked, there were 6 other cars parked there and I even asked someone if this was ok parking and they said yes of course. They got tickets too lol but I noticed on the opposite side of the street there was no yellow on the sidewalk meaning they could park there. My ticket was $50 so just make sure you park in the right area. Hard to find parking when it’s busy. I got there on Thursday at 3pm.

The parking situation is strange. There is an easily missed entrance to the pay parking. If you miss it, you continue on to “free” parking. I say “free” but it really isn’t as there are a ton of locals sweeping sand off the asphalt that will help you park for a tip. There are zero “unmonitored” spots. This side is near the food vendors.
For snorkeling, the “pay parking side” (left of the docks if facing the ocean) seemed to have the best snorkeling. The most active areas were right at the corner of the last dock and a bit past it where the “boat” is (at least that’s what I think we saw….looked to be some sunken concrete slabs but a bunch of scuba divers where putting their flags there).
The food is…meh. Empanadas were literally from the frozen food aisle. Chicken on a stick was undercooked and fatty. The freshly cored pineapple with pina colada should have been delicious but used cheap alcohol and tasted not great.

This beach was amazing! Got there before 10 am for prime parking spot, beach was crowded by early afternoon. Crystal clear water, you can see both big and little fish swimming near you on the shore. Great snorkeling spot near the pier. Fresh Pina Coladas, all kinds of daiquiri's (banana, mango, strawberry, etc.) available for sale. Also, BBQ chicken, shrimp skewers, octopus ceviche. People selling hats, towels. Lots of great photo ops here. We stayed ALL DAY.

To my surprise, this beach was "hopping" at the end of December 2020 considering the fact that by executive order, only individual exercise was allowed. People on towels, blankets, with coolers.... and nobody were masks, which at the time of the visit was required. Overall, the beach seems nothing special--PR has nicer beaches than this one.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our visits to Crashboat Beach over our Spring Break trip to PR. We felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed the soft sand and turquoise waters. The little food/beverage kiosks were convenient and very tasty. We had bbq chicken on a stick and wonderful frozen drinks. We did find that the showers did not work so that was slightly disappointing as we returned to our vehicles. This is a beach frequented by locals so you know it's a good one. Stay for the sunsets, you won't be disappointed!

My 6 year-old son got stung by a box jellyfish here. No mention of these on signs posted anywhere. I have been to Australia where they are abundant and you are well informed of their presence before entering the water. Thank God I had Benadryl with me. Tons of people on the beach but no one was able to help me at all. My husband and I did some research after this harrowing experience and apparently they are now found in the Carribean waters during the winter months. We were even able to find pictures online of the jellies that were abundant in the water and they were indeed a species of box jellyfish. My son went in to anaphylactic shock and we were close to losing him. He pulled through on our way to the hospital but it was way too close. Head to Marina Beach in Rincon instead. Lots to do, water is perfect and the people are way nicer.

This is such a fun beach! There are some great restaurants and food carts near the parking area. The beach is large, so if it is crowded in one area, just walk down a bit. There is a long bridge/pier that people often jump off of. The water is clear and fairly calm making it a nice place to just relax and swim if you want.

One of the busiest and most popular beaches in Aguadilla on the northwestern coast of Puerto Rico. Park on the side streets or in the parking lots. We paid $5 for parking which was right next to the beach. The beach was already busy when we arrived. Plenty of food & drink vendors right on the beach and there were also few stands for souvenirs. Water is clean & clear with a short sandy beach that’s easy for walking. There’s a wooden pier/dock that’s busy with people walking, fishing, jumping into the ocean or climbing down to snorkel. We like empty, off the beaten path beaches but this is a nice change. Crash Boat Beach is a family friendly, lively beach. Take note that there’s no bathroom/shower facilities nor lifeguards, which was pretty much the same in many beaches on the island.

Crash Boat Beach in Aguadilla is a beautiful and well maintained beach that is well worth a visit for a day. I really like the location and atmosphere here that you can really relax and enjoy everything that the beach has to offer. I like that there are spots in the shade or in the sun. Good experience coming here.

Hi Mike B - you mentioned Crash beach being too busy and other beaches just as beautiful and less crowded. Can you mention a few?
Thanks.

Hello,
I recommend Jabos Beach, Survivor Beach and monotones beach. Absolutely the most beautiful beaches I have seen this far. The beach are not crowded and more of local gem. While crash boat beach is more geared towards tourist. I hope this helps :)
Is there any jellyfish around the area in this season?
Yes just hit sting by one swimming off the pier today feb19,2920
