Stopped here on our way back to Diamond Cay. Had spent the afternoon at the zoo of Soggy Dollar.
The quiet and authentic nature of Foxy’s made us remember the days of the BVI of 20+ years ago. No rush, no loud tourists, no bass-thumping music. Just good drinks and atmosphere.
We loved it.

We loved the places they took us to snorkel, equipment is in good condition.

I cannot thank Captian David for the best service ever getting me over to Jost Van Dyke. This was a solo trip over Christmas, David was ontime and picked me up in St Thomas at the Red Hook docks and what am I greeted with, a professional welcome, carried my luggage to help me on the boat and of course ice cold drinks to beat the heat! It doesnt get any better than that. He was extremely professional, curtious, knowledgable, very helpful with details of the island, upcoming activites, best places to eat and where to get the cocktails!!!!
Anyone reading this, if you even consider looking at another water taxi service your making a huge mistake! I have traveled many places and never have I been treated with such care, respect, and felt so secure being where I was at. Book this service, you will thank me later and will not regret it.

Very disappointed with this ferry. We had no option other than to take it because the regular ferry doesn't operate on Thursdays. It cost double the amount of the regular ferry because it was "private". Meanwhile there was a local woman and child riding with us for free. There were no drinks offered, contrary to their advertisement. To iterate...a complete rip-off.

Let me start by saying that when ever a customer is dissatisfied, we look at this very closely as we are in the business of making our customers Happy not dissatisfied. Just so the readers are aware I myself (The Owner) was the Captain on the day she is referring to. She had booked a water taxi with us well in advance of her travels so she was certainly aware that the cost of a Water taxi is more expensive that a public ferry, guests use our services as a luxury for obvious reasons verses utilizing the public transportation system. It like a yellow cab taxi Vs limousine service. In regards to the local women comment , the local woman she was referring to was Foxy's Daughter and Grand daughter. The customer is correct these where non paying guests however the water taxi was not a private taxi and there where plenty of seats for all of us so we would have no reason not to fill our seats. In regards to no drinks offered, the reason this happened is because the water taxi guests where supposed to arrive at 2:30 however their flight was delayed and they did not show up until 3:50 pm and if we did not depart immediately we would not be able to make Jost Van Dyke customs offices by 4:30 when they close and then we would need to go through West End Tortola customs offices at prime time which would have meant at least a 1.5 hour delay to get to Jost van dyke. So let me ask is a Soda, Water or can of beer worth that kind of delay ? We did not complain about waiting 1.5hrs for them to arrive nor did we charge them any additional fees for wait time as most of the water taxi company's do. So the only one that got ripped off was our company with a bad review from a guest that was just having a bad day in general. Not our fault !!!!! Hope your feeling better.

Family of 5 took a tour around the harbor. Boats in good order. Helpful guide. We saw plenty of creatures beneath our boats. It was like a trip to a maritime zoo - sting rays, assorted fish, flora, etc. It was a really nice excursion. Also fun was paddling around the boaters sitting on their yachts and chatting with them as they sipped their cocktails. Very congenial crowd. After the tour we had dinner at Foxy's which was fun.

We visited Tortola on a cruise ship and we booked a day excursion with Dave at Foxy Charters. There were 8 in our group and he took us to the Virgin Gorda Baths. The entire day was amazing! We were met when we got off the ship and his boat was right by the dock waiting for us with a cooler full of drinks and rum punch. The boat was very nice and comfortable. They provided us with snorkel gear and accompanied us at the baths and led us around while explaining the history of the area. We then ate lunch at the top of the hill. The entire day was perfect! I cannot say enough about this private tour and we were so happy that we booked our day this way instead of just taking the ferry over and doing it on our own.

We were in port at Road Town for the day on a cruise and hired Foxy’s Charters to take six of us to Jost Van Dyke for the day. We did some sightseeing on neighboring islands and got to meet Foxy. Captain Dave was fabulous! We had a great day!

Hands down the best way to get from St. Thomas to Tortola.
This was our third trip to the BVIs for a week of sailing. In the past we've taken the ferry from Charlotte Amalie and dealt with all of the issues with doing so including waiting for the ferry at the dock and standing in line at Customs in Road Town. With the water taxi there is none of that.
Pedro was waiting for us at the airport to take us to Red Hook where we met Dave. We were 10 and his boat, aside from being a very pretty boat, fit us perfectly. Water and beer on the boat as well. Dave managed the whole customs process beautifully. We were through customs at West End in 10mins. without even getting off the boat and then we were onto our final destination in Road Town. Added bonus - if you're fortunate enough to get Jasmina as Dave's first mate, you've hit gold, she's the best.
Without a doubt this is the only way we're traveling from St. Thomas and Tortola in the future.

Sure we can pick you up in Red Hook St Thomas 1 hour after your flight lands. You would simply take a land taxi to American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook and we will meet you at the fuel dock which is dock A. The cost would be $340 plus $40 per person for the International fees. We chartered for 1/2 day - which was around $1200. There were 6 of us. I think you can arrange just round trip transports, but it's not much cheaper (around $900). So was worth having the charter for the 1/2 day - we got to snorkel and see other islands too. All round great experience. Hope this helps.
