Beautiful beach,

It is best to go to White Bay by dinghy since there are not any mooring balls to hook up to while you are there.

This place used to be very nice but now lots of boats dock in here with a bunch of noisy people and drunks, not good for families anymore.

White Bay is beautiful and has good bars/restaurants on the beach. Navigate through the reefs, and you find a sandy bottom which makes the water a fabulous blue. Swim ashore or beach your dingy and enjoy the options. One of the places that reinforces the great beauty and fun of BVI.

I stopped here off a cruise ship this past fall. One of my all-time favorite destinations. It's beautiful, out of the way, there are trails off the beaten path, you can hang out with some locals. If you go off the main area you can get really great food and drinks for much less than the main beach area. If... More

Just an all around gorgeous beach. I like to get the early before the crowds. It is peaceful, and the water is the most crystal clear, yet blue water you will see. It gets busier later in the day, but I had fun! The beach is quite large so it is nice to walk the whole thing, and look at... More

Great place, but before the cruise ships and St Thomas started sending crowds by launch it was even better. Years ago you had to swim in from your anchored sailboat. Now you can tie up to a mooring and take you rubber dingy into the bar. When the crowd is not here it's a very romantic getaway.

We spent 7 days in the islands and this was the best beach of all. Beautiful white sand and blue water.

What a wonderful day, sitting on the beach and enjoying pain killers and banana benders from the Soggy Dollar. Get there early if you want a free chair! If you decide to take the hike from Great Bay, it is a 40 minute walk to get to White Bay beach.
