A great place for underwater exploring, this secluded half-mile white sandy beach has reefs close to shore.

I've been lucky enough to travel a bit, including many islands. By far White Bay in Jost Van Dyke is my favorite place to be! It is my hearts home and as much as I'd like to keep it a little secret (although words getting...More

It is a shame that large catamarans and many other large vessels are allowed to anchor just 5 feet from the shore with their anchor lines stretching into the sands. You cannot walk the beach without jumping over lines. You cannot snorkel without weaving and...More

The color combination of the sand and water made this one of the most beautiful beaches I've seen. Perhaps the string of bar after bar competing for your buck helps. They were all great and had something different to offer, food or drink. People everywhere...More

The white sand, the most beautiful blue water. This is exactly what you dream of when dreaming of your next beach vacation. The people, restaurants, and beach experience is one of a kind. You’ll be hooked. I wish I was there tonight.

A bunch of people already said it and it's spot on. A fantastic location with beautiful views and tons of places to explore if you need to get away from the crowd. We were there in September 2018 and it was perfect. It's accessible via...More

We just made a return trip to Jost in August 2018. Fearing the worst, we weren't sure what to expect, but White Bay has been mostly restored to it's pristine glory after being ravaged by 2 Cat 5 Hurricanes less than 1 year ago. New...More

Pulling in by boat saw a beautiful bay with a great beach! Took the dinghy ashore to find the Soggy Dollar Bar. We had a terrific time. Cold drinks - we did not eat.

Great day stop. Glistening beach. Avoid weekends as locals cram the anchorage and also holidays. Wouldn't advise anchoring overnight as southern swells might make for a long night.

This is paradise. Crystal clear water, great bars and food. So relaxing. It does get crowded in the afternoon but they all go away and morning and evening are absolutely wonderful.

Great beach, fun places to eat, drink, and socialize, and lots of sea life to observe while snorkeling.

It is one of the best beaches in the world. The only down side is that sometimes in the early afternoon you have to put up with a bunch of drunks on day sail trips from St. Thomas.
