I am a day boat captain out of St Thomas. I frequent beaches and beach bars every day for a living.Due to the mixed reviews here, I thought I would leave a review from my most recent experience. I had a group 9 people, 3 children between the ages of 8 and 12, 2 couples late 30's early 40's and... More

We have been here for Thanksgiving 3 year in a row and love it. Great little reefs and beach. Very hot because it does not get much breeze. You need to get a mooring next to Ivan's at about 8:00am few moorings after about 9:00am when you may need to anchor. If it has a north swell (winter) the moorings... More

Go to Seddy's One Love for the lobster quesadillas and Seddy's painkillers! Wander around the beach wile you wait for your lunch and then sit at plentiful tables which Soggy Dollar doesn't have! The family of Seddy will serve you and make the food and they are very welcoming.

Stunning beach but crawling with tourists. Food and drinks are overpriced. To get away from the orgy, head to either end of the beach...or better yet if you have the means, choose another beach.

This is the best beach on Jost. If you just have to go to jost this is the beach to go to. Just remember no ATM on this island most things are cash only.

My favourite beach in the BVI. Lively beach, happy people. Good drinks at the Soggy Dollar Bar. And I love the birds that dives into the water like Kamikaze pilots. Really fun to watch.

Although it was our fifth visit to JVD in the past dozen years, there had been a 5 year gap since our last . Previous trips had been a relaxing day on the white sand beach with cool drinks and good food. This time something had changed. We were there on a Tuesday AM in early June, not a holiday,... More

Oh my, the water. The sand. The palm trees. The Painkillers. I could go on and on, but this really was one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen! Kids played in the sand non-stop, the water was perfect...I want to be there right now!!!
