We spent a few hours this afternoon watching the tour boat off of Lighthouse /lower head trail. Approximately 6.5 km hike from the lighthouse past rugged cliffs and an old Coppermine through seabreeze park and by root cellers. The level of difficulty is moderate.

Hiking from the lighthouse to Sleepy Cove and back made for a beautiful hike for our family. Many beautiful views and the cove had phenomenal tide pools that the kids loved exploring. Good footwear is a must. Hold tight to little hands near cliff edges. Geocaches in the area are an added bonus.

My family did the hike to Sleepy Cove and the point just beyond--approx 7 kms--in about 2 hrs with stops for photos and to poke about. Great ocean views with the odd whale blow in the distance. There's a frisbee golf course set up in the hiking area but we didn't try it or see anyone playing--maybe just getting set... More

This trail is a good workout - up stairs, up & down all the way ~ make it as long as you want. Need to watch your footing & it isn't well marked but the views are stunning!

Long hike, not marked very well, but so worth the effort. We saw an eagle flying at Horny head cove. Amazing

The Sleepy Cove Trail offers great ocean views and an even better physical workout...but it is well worth the effort. The trail is very hilly but well maintained and provides great vantage points for photography.

Lots of icebergs here in May and June. Wow. The trails are great and the weather was super while we were here. Highly recommended

You can walk for an hour or 2-3 depending on how much of the trail you do. It connects to other trails. Great views - we watched whales from a few points along the hike. Great vistas and not too busy.
