Great test of golf on a beautiful day
Jul 2021 • Friends
Course was in excellent condition on July 16. Over the latest lockdown they have taken out some trees and cleared most of the rough areas, so it’s a little easier to play than before. Paths no better, but otherwise it’s very attractive. Overall a tough but fair test. Recommend

Rudest staff!
Sep 2020 • Couples
Went here today for a viewing as a potential wedding venue and the lady who manages the events is so rude! Don’t understand how you can speak to customers so rudely!

Stunning Course let down by 'some' of the people they allow on to play!
Jul 2020
This is one of the nicest courses I've had the privilege of playing, in immaculate condition and a true test for even the single figure golfer.

I have given 3 stars as my round with a friend on 13/07/20 (tee off 14.32) was unfortunately marred by a 2 ball which played behind us that for 3 consecutive holes 5, 6 & 7 heckled us.

Initially on the 5th although our tee shots found the trees and our bags left in the fairway, the group behind hit their balls into us resulting when we were putting on the green to be shouted at from 200 yards back accusing us of playing their ball (which should not have been anywhere near us in the first place!).

On the 6th hole, the same group did not wait and when we were putting out we received a ball onto the green and one over the back of the green over our heads!

Astounded by this we moved on the 7th a blind dog leg par 4, our tee shots unfortunately found the trees again and we were forced into both taking dropped shots (without adequate time to look for our balls) as we were concerned again about the group behind hitting into us.

On the 8th hole, we did call the pro shop and to be fair to them, they sent a chap in a buggy out ASAP which was a nice touch, we were however told that we should have let the group behind play through which did touch a nerve! As a 12 & 16 handicappers we were certainly not slow and were keeping up with the pace of play (the first 8 holes only took us exactly 1h 30 mins)

Safe to say we did not see the group behind again after this incident, so i'm not quite sure what happened but it just feels that golf etiquette seems to be going out the window these days. For Westerham to allow 2 blokes with trainers and untucked polo shirts onto a course that presume any "white titleist ball regardless of the number is theirs" is not the calibre of player Westerham should be allowing to enjoy such a great course.

5 Star Fantastic Course with Fantastic facilities and practise area, but as with too many courses these days, anyone prepared to pay seems to get on!

Worth every penny
Feb 2020
My Husband and I got married at Westerham Golf Club on 02.02.2020 and what an amazing day it was.
From the very first visit we knew it was the place for us with its outstanding views, the homeliness of the venue, the wood burners, the fact that everything was all in one room and the general feel of the place. The team behind the scenes were outstanding and made sure every base was covered and that any question, no matter how silly, was answered.

Every guest commented on what an amazing venue it was and there were comments from many saying 'it was the best wedding they had been to'. The package were had chosen was perfect for food and drink quantities and the food was outstanding. Being a Sunday we had a roast dinner for the wedding breakfast and our choice of evening buffet was plentiful and well received.

All staff were amazing, from Cheryl (Events Sales & Administration Manager), to Ish (Food and Beverage Manager) and his team. Those behind the scenes worked their socks off and everyone of our guests had fabulous comments about the day and night.

I would definitely recommend the venue to any who wants to hold a wedding, a party etc as it is second to none.

Thank you all.

Fantastic views
Feb 2020 • Couples
Came here for a round of golf on a sunny February afternoon. The course was pretty decent with some spectacular views of the Kent countryside. The golf was good and the course was in good condition with some decent holes. It was very busy but that shows what a good course it is. I will definitely return once the weather gets warmer

Beautiful Wedding Venue
Feb 2020 • Friends
We had our wedding at this venue and I couldn't of asked for a better events team or venue. Right from the beginning, I was dealt with like an individual and not just another customer - the events manager was so helpful and always was prompt with replies and available for a chat.
My family and friends loved the venue and I have only heard great things about this venue by everyone! Was absolutely stunning! Highly recommended

Fabulous place, fabulous food and a warm welcome to this annual bash which, once again, lived up to the high standards set in previous years.

A perfect wedding venue
Aug 2019
From the moment my wife & I set our eyes on Westerham Golf Club we knew it was a special place & the place we wanted to tie the knot. The glorious & spacious rooms allow a lot of potential, as well as the extensive balcony which offers stunning views of the course.

What really makes this place are the staff who make sure everything runs smoothly. Bobbie & Holly made sure every detail is inch perfect and were always on hand when they were needed. Their experience was much needed for us, especially at the start when there is so much to organise.

Ish & Brad made sure the day itself went perfectly, so well that they seemed to be in 10 places at once! Also the countless staff who kept all the guests happy. No one has a bad word about the venue.

We can't thank the venue enough, we have taken the first steps of our new adventure together and it all started at Westerham Golf Club.

Beautiful but SO slow
Sep 2019 • Friends
Not for the first time Westerham showed itself to be the home of slow play. Our threeball took an unacceptable 4h 25m because we got stuck behind a vets match, the rules of which were clearly walk as slowly as possible and hole out under all it circumstances. It was painful. The marshal did come by and apologise for the pace of play but basically said there was nothing he could go about it. When I told the man in the pro shop how long it had taken he just smirked and said that was pretty much standard. Indeed it is. This is not the first time I have had to endure such ridiculous slow play here. It’s such a shame because this is a beautiful course, if extremely testing, but I just can’t deal with their casual attitude to slow play. No wonder so few young folk play the game these days.
