I normally take my kids to this park for a fun day out, if we haven’t got anything planned, and they really enjoy it! It has a lovely large pond, with a fountain and ducks. Next to the pond, there is some duck feed dispensers, which only cost 20p and give you a large handful of duck food. There is also a Cafe, which is nice, but a bit pricey. Next to the Cafe is a large Children’s Play area, with a zip-line, swings, and many other pieces of equipment for children to enjoy. There is also a small area for younger children, with a small slide, and a little climbing frame, so that the little ones can have a bit of fun. I really enjoy this park, and think it’s a very good place to go if your kids are bored, or you just want to take the dog for a walk!

Chose Raphael Park purposefully to make use of the tennis courts. It is 4 GBP per hour and equipment hire is also available if needs be. The hard courts are largely in good shape but the base lines are slightly faded.

The rest of the park appears very popular. Play areas, open spaces for sport and dog-friendly too. Plenty of people were enjoying the sunshine during our visit.

A beautiful park to visit, walk around and relax in and the restoration work over recent years and added pathways etc have restored it to its former glory and the lake is stunning. Having a restaurant at one end and a nice cafe/kiosk at the other end also enhance the experience. It would be nice to see the lovely bandstand utilised more. For example I've often heard people say it would be nice if the Salvation Army band played there occasionally especially at weekends.

This isn’t a review of the park the park is lovely this is a review of the cafe. To start they charge more for a coffee then Costa, they under pay their staff that on average work 11 hr days and get paid £70 and they are beyond rude. I have a dog and I picked up his poo and put it in the bin and picked him up went to join the queue to buy a coffee when this abrupt woman said Is that dog poo you just put in there you need to take it out this is our bin not the park bin, she then stormed over opened the bin passed the poo bag back to me. Her whole attitude was so aggressive had she of said I’m sorry we can’t have that in these bins because we have to store the waste til collected and food etc etc you get what I’m saying just been polite I would of said I’m sorry didn’t realise but she didn’t so I said forget the coffee she said that’s fine we’re not worried so I sweared at her (I admit that was wrong but so angry) which she then told me to watch my language like she was superior to me and I was a child! I’m in my mid 30’s! anyway massive rant I’m just so furious as I go there regular with my dog and little boy so I pay for their over priced rubbish coffee often but I won’t ever buy again from then

As much as I was looking forward to the opportunity to get to this place as much I was disappointed in what I saw there ...such little starters of food I have not seen anywhere, the food was not tasty, the meat is overdried and the prices are clearly inflated.
The staff is inexperienced and at least needs to be trained in the simplest things. I do not recommend this place for a family celebration with children. Be prepared for additional payments and many restrictions and eventually the atmosphere of your celebration will spoiled.

Have visited Raphaels restaurant a couple of times the food has always been excellent. The portions are large and the menu has something for everyone. The service is first class and the stafff are excellent. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone well worth a visit.

This park is superb. It has a scenic route for walks and beautiful spots to have a picnic. The pond is amazing and provided good entertainment when watching the ducks. Also there is a restaurant on the park grounds. The parking facilities are good and near the park. You can park for 3 hours for free. This park is perfect for families, couples and solo visits. There is a play area, benches and places for you to do some fishing.

Came here today to have a walk and feed the ducks. Nice, clean, well kept park. Plenty of open spaces, plants and a lake. Just across the main road is Lodge Farm Park, which is also well kept with plenty of open spaces. There is also a children's playground and Miniature Railway in this park. There is a small car park, which quickly fills up
