I travel approximately 40kms to visit ever 6 weeks or so to do a Haribo Haul for my daughter and her work colleagues. Having vegetarian and halal versions of the sweets means no one misses out.
I love the huge bags of sweets but wish you sold huge bags of Star Mix. The prices and range of sweets are really good and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I'm not even much of a fan of sweets and I still found something I enjoyed in this shop. I thought both the choice and the price were great and it is amazing that there is a Haribo factory just behind.

The lady serving us was very friendly too, it made the visit a pleasure.

The Haribo outlet has a selection of good fresh quality sweets, for instance the Wine Gums have a best before date of September 2018 the price for 160g a mere 65p, although the shop is very small it is well laid out with the sweets coming in packets boxes and large bags. the only disappointment for me was the although the liquorice comforts (torpedoes) come in the liquorice favorites 160g pack they cannot be bought in a pack of there own, again dated 9/2018. The Haribo factory is the old Dunhills of Pontefract liquorice factory to which I delivered to in the 1970's. the young assistant was very helpful and was constantly filling up the stock, one gent who worked for a Leeds bus and coach operator was buying the sweets in boxes of 12, that in it's self is as good as a recommendation as one could expect, another good point is that I managed to park outside the shop. Make a day out with the kids as it is not far from a park by the race course with attractions and playground, and walks in the park by the lake. Take a picnic to the park.

To say that this shop is purported to be a 'factory shop' its a poor show. Having made a specific trip to sunny Pontefract during our holidays specifically to visit this 'outlet shop' it failed to impress. For example the huge bags of marshmallows on sale at £4.50 were found to be more £0.51p more expensive than elsewhere. If you're seeking bargains at factory gate prices don't go there. My advice is to go to Asda (dead opposite the Haribo shop) or to Booker Cash & Carry where you will get far more bang for your buck. Very disappointing especially given the close proximity of the factory to the shop. This felt more like an opportunity to capitalise on Haribo merchandise sales than offer special value.

If you are nearby the Hairbo Shop is definitely worth a visit. There are some different varieties and you can buy 6 bags for £4 (67per bag). Larger boxes and bags along with Hairbo merchandise are also on sale (teddies, mugs, bedding, etc).

If only Hairbo did a factory tour too!

Lots of Haribo sweets available here and a good reduction on the high street prices. Some other merchandise. available. Would be great to see in the factory but it's still not possible. Fine to visit if in the area but you'll be disappointed if you go out off your way to make a visit.

When I discovered there was a Haribo shop less than an hour from home I was bouncing! Having visited the Solingen factory shop in the past my expectations of buying gummi bears were high!
Well compared to the German shops its a bit poor and very small, the range quite limited and surprisingly doesn't sell any of the Dunhill sweets. You can buy big bags of some Haribo lines and lower priced standard bags of a wide selection of lines. There is limited on street parking outside and is only open Monday to Friday - which is just as well, 6 shoppers will fill the place!
So, if you are in the area and like Haribo sweets its well worth a look in! I shall certainly be back to restock!

Visited on a Saturday morning as they were open especially for Christmas. Standard sized bags of sweets are 65p, boxes (approx. 1.2kg) £4 and 3kg bags are £7.50.

Not sure how to put this review! Took my grandson here yesterday. Had seen great reviews on Google. Very small shop. Lots of jelly sweets. Same sweets different names! Rude staff, too busy talking to each other than to even look at us. I can't print what they were saying!! I hastily paid and left. Definitely cheaper here, but by the time you've paid travelling expenses it's just not worth it. I love Haribo Pontefract Cakes!! Not knocking the product.

The Haribo Factory Outlet, AKA Hariboland, but now just called the Haribo shop after its recent refurb & larger shop area. Not only does this shop sell all the Haribo you could ever wish for at reduced prices but you can get lots of other Haribo Branded merchandise from teddy’s to umbrellas, Flasks to bags etc etc 🤗 the sweets come in all kinds of sizes from the small bags, Tubs, large packs & Box’s, they also have a pick n mix section, its hard to come out without spending a fortune, DONT take your kids in or you’ll never get out 😬, samples are available at the cashier desk (your only supposed to take 1 or 2 🤭), a lay by parking is available out front of the shop with limited parking for 30 mins so you should get a spot, if not theirs plenty of cheap parking in the town centre which is only a couple of minutes walk away. We love this place 😀
