While visiting Pontefract we popped into the church just in time to enjoy an organ recital. Not surprisingly, with the "corner" positioning of the organ pipes, the sound was absolutely perfect.

This is a very pretty church in the middle of this lovely little historic market town. The clock tower is particularly striking too. Can’t really miss this church if you are in the town centre.

This place is a must for people visiting Pontefract. It has been sympathetically restored and kept its character. Plenty of room to put on an event if required. Lovely tearoom in one corner of church, friendly and welcoming.

Visited Pontefract and found this lovely historic church right in the centre of town. It has a very interesting octagonal tower and next time we visit hopefully it will be open for us to have a look inside.
