Outstanding, had 5 bikes seen to in the past month, some serviced, some rebuilt. They have been class from top to bottom. Hadn’t risen one bike for 25 yrs and it’s now like a brand new bike, i always thought I could do odd jobs on the bike, it turns out I shouldn’t have even bothered. Great service, great everything, really fair prices. Won’t bother doing any odd jobs again, thanks very much

Tinkered with a front derailleur and didn't improve it! Called the shop and was told to bring it round immediately, although it was an hour or so before closing time. Quickly sorted by staff who are approachable, friendly and highly skilled. Very reasonable cost too

Bought my bike here about 10 years ago, have had great service ever since. Always polite, always knowledgeable about the bikes & everyone in the store is really friendly. Why go anywhere else?

The best bike shop that you can visit. Friendly beyond compare.
Family run business since 80 s so their knowledge and practical experience is second to none.!
Will repair your cycle with grateful know how and as speedily as they are able. Can totally recommend this shop and all it's services .
Go and see for your self ,you WILL NOT be disappointed. Paul and Alistair and Toby are the men who run this shop with style, care dignity, and grace !.

I cannot believe that this site is top when searching for Rick Green Cycles. I also cannot believe that two poor reviews have priority.
I have been a customer for over 15 years and never,ever had anything less that an excellent service.

Took my bike in as the back wheel kept getting punctures. Got it back and all they did was replace the inner tube which is what I had already done a couple of times. So anyway I gave them the benefit of the doubt and within an hour the back wheel was down again. Just taken the bike back in and after picking it up the bald guy that works in there for no reason at all went off at one for enquiring about the back brake. Seems like a arrogant tool, the whole shop turned around and stopped what they were doing in amazement. Felt like smacking the bald idiot!

Been in here twice now and never again. Unsure why it is listed as an attraction as it is a retail store? Staff are extremely rude.. Literally ignored me twice I have been in.. It seems being my ethnicity does not suit them.

It sounds like we were busy with other customers on your 2 visits, we don't ever ignore anyone that comes through our door. Apologies for that. And to answer your conclusion you have come to regarding ethnicity, I am a white male with a favourite actor of Will Smith, favourite Dancer of Oti Mabuse and was recently notified by Spotify that I am in the top 1% of listeners world wide for the artist Ice Cube. Being a different colour doesn't matter to me and should't to you either.

Having taken up cycling recently i have found these guys invaluable with advise on equipment, at no point do they over sell anything and often suggest cheaper alternatives that can save you money on items, they have worked on my partners and my bikes over the past few weeks and really like there approach. Keep up the good work guys and you will certainly continue to see us again. Even our 2yr old enjoys going in with Dad to play on the children bikes..

I always get my bike serviced here after being ripped off by other competitors. Paul, Rick, Alistair and team are brilliant And they really know their stuff. They turn the bike around in the time they say they will and their prices are excellent. I trust my humble steed in their capable hands and it always comes back riding a joy. I buy all my accessories and even presents for friends. I am hoping to purchase a new road bike next year and I won't be going anywhere else but here. I am so lucky they are down the road. Their group rides are also very enjoyable and a great tough training session. They are an asset to all cyclists around the area. Keep up the good work chaps 😃👍

No cycle shop can beat three generations of personal experience and commitment. Many cycle shops advise from a distance. Rick Green Cycles gives personal advice based on thoughtful reflection as they get to know and understand their customers' needs. It's great to be remembered as an individual rather than only as a potential source of income. This is a good place to go whether you are a committed and experienced cyclist or one who is buying a bike for the first time. Whilst the choice on show may be less than in large retailers, the likelihood that you'll make a well informed purchase is considerably greater. Careful repairs, rebuilds and maintenance can be relied on.
