This place could be an absolute goldmine, but when we went yesterday on a glorious sunny day and it was not busy, we found out why. I tried to pay for parking but my mobile had run out of data and i asked the manager if she could help. She was not interested at all and told me, it is managed by another company and nothing she could do. A very helpful stranger helped me and did it on her phone and i gave her the cash. Why could the staff not have that service for someone without a mobile phone or elderly that can not work an app? Then we tried to get something to eat. Behind the bar at 12:30 in the afternoon, they had 3 baguettes, that had been made god knows when, wrapped in cling film, not what we fancied when we went out for a lovely lunch with my elderly mother. We went through to the restaurant and on a lunchtime service with a beautiful but completely empty outdoor seating area. The staff were so unhelpful, they had 6 main dishes on the menu and all very expensive and nothing for a light lunch. Steaks, lamb shanks and kebabs. We wanted a salad or sandwich in a lovely setting, when we asked the staff if there was anything on the complex that served anything like that, they just shrugged and said they worked in the restaurant and didnt know!!!!! We then tried to order with the waitress, but was told she was not able to take orders and the only person that was able to take our order was busy with the only other people that had just walked in and was a table of 8 lads. We finally gave up and went somewhere else. I will NEVER go back there.

Anyone looking to book Lakeview Marquee for their wedding, i would advise not to. Myself and my fiance have had such a bad experience with them. We had to chase for receipts of payments, and when we wanted to cancel due to covid they never came back to us, after having chased so much and paid in full. Dont book this venue if you dont want the stress!

I’ve only discovered this it was beautiful to come here during the heat wave in London. They have lots of parking (free after 7pm) and lots of activities you can do but needs to be pre booked. They have a restaurant near the water which stays open till 9:30 which is amazing because usually park cafes close so early like 4/5pm. It’s really busy though I’m not sure if it’s due to lock down or summer holidays but definitely worth visiting
